This HDD arrived in mint condition in sealed electrostatic bag. Disk Info tells me that it had been operating only a couple of hours so I pretty much got a brand new drive. It's working great. 250 MB/s write speeds and 245mb/s read speeds. 12TB for just $99 is a fantastic bargain. In comparison a new 16TB HDD would cost me $250 new. ... show more

OH brother, this HDD reminded me of the good old days when you could hear your pc thinking, load and clear. Other than the noise, it's been working just fine, good option to get lots of TB for cheap, hope it last 5 years or more

I must admit I was skeptical when I ordered these. However, they all arrived in "like new" condition and showed no signs of wear. I have 11 in a RAID 6 array and have written approx. 50TB of data thus far and all of the drives are performing as expected. SMART info on the drives indicate that they are new drives. In the box there is a warranty card indicating the drives have a 5 year warranty. I hope I never have to submit a request, but if I do I will update my review with the status.
