Ok reel for the money. I’m using it as a kayak anchor line. It does not guide the line left and right for even reloading like a fishing reel does, and that can be problematic. I haven’t really really put it through it’s paces long term, but I did buy two and one of the reels arrived very stiff and not wanting to pay line in/out. I might have to take it apart to see what’s wrong?. Depending on what you use it for, you may want to spend more on a more high quality unit. ... show more

Pros - easy to use, release is well placed, factory cord is strong with minimal stretch, compact design and durable handle/frame…. And the color matched my kayak 😀 Cons - winding up the line with weight is difficult due to the small spool 💪 Often I just pull in the anchor by hand and then wind up the anchor line once the anchor is in the kayak. ... show more
