Anchor is Strong enough to hold 3 boats 21-24 foot fiberglass tow/runabouts. Get the Danik hook and 100’ line if you are going to Norris Lake. Used it several times this summer. We had a more traditional style anchor for our 21' Bowrider which left a little to be desired. We found that, even with a proper rope angle it would drag in even light wind. We were turned on to the box anchor design and I am happy with the upgrade. It grips the bottom of the lake much better, and is easy to release. Because it folds up, it fits nicely in the anchor locker. It is pretty heavy, but that is partly why it works so well. Bought this anchor late in the season and it worked perfectly the one and only time i needed it. First throw and it set on a sandy bottom where my old anchor took multiple attempts to get set. Worth every penny right then and there. (22 ft open bow ski boat with a mild river current) Some other reviews mentioned the anchor came apart, so I tightened up all the bolts right out of the box and am confident that it will stay together. My only complaint is the locking pin that keeps the anchor open and square is a little short. Tightened down the spring but the pin still has potential to pull free from the open and locked position causing the anchor to fold up.
