  • Better than what I had
Style: 19-lb Anchor
A friend of mine told me about this anchor and I ordered the 19lb. I have a 21 ft Tahoe Q6 and I didn’t go with the 13lb. When anchored, my boat doesn’t drift away at all. Definitely heavier but I can still get it in and out of the water. I make sure to have a few towels to lay it on when I’m breaking it down to store back underneath one of the front seats. Buy this anchor! It’s one of the best options I purchased thus far! ... show more

  • No more hardware to tighten
Style: 19-lb Anchor
I read of bunch of the reviews before buying this box anchor. Apparently in the past two years or so, the design has changed. There is no longer any hardware that needs any tightening before using. The pins that hold the anchor together are capped off so no nuts or bolts to loosen up. Also, the latching pin on mine sits nice and securely with no wiggle room to move around. The arm where you attach your rope/chain no longer uses a shackle either so it's ready to go out of the box, just toss it in the water and forget about it. ... show more

  • Wish I had bought sooner
Style: 19-lb Anchor
I have a 23' tritoon and have been using a fluke and a mushroom anchor and was always having trouble keeping my boat in one place when I was parked in a popular shallow water area on our lake. The 1st time I used this box anchor, I was absolutely amazed. It kept my boat still while other boats kept having to reset their anchor. ... show more

  • Great solution
Style: 19-lb Anchor
Working great I have a Mako pro skiff 19, the anchor locker is smallish but this fits and works great.

  • Amazing - Everyone is telling the truth
Style: 19-lb Anchor
I wasted so much time over the past 2 years trying to set a traditional anchor. I just throw this in and forget about it for hours. Holds my 20 foot pontoon completely still!

  • Best anchor around
Style: 19-lb Anchor
No brains required for this design. We use them in varied lake and slower river bottoms and they just work.

  • 21' Bennington Pontoon needed an anchor for windy days
Style: 19-lb Anchor
Everyone kept laughing at the size of my anchor, as well it would never hold the boat still when wind comes around. I purchased this anchor based on another reviewer stating he lives in FL and uses this anchor for sandy bottoms. Well our lake is pretty sandy so I said what the heck i will give it a try. Guess what today was really windy and threw that anchor out and on the first try it sank and boom we didnt move all day. I no longer have the smallest anchor.. I purchased the 19 pounder and with this 21' pontoon with top up it is like a sail boat. didnt move at all.. Then pulling it up was a breeze... So if you have a sandy bottom and you cant get the anchor to hold get this one... you wont be sorry... ... show more

  • Good quality
Style: 13-lb Anchor
This anchor is great quality. It was a bit stiff and hard to open and close. I assume that would get better with use. I have a 23 ft surf boat and I feel it was a bit small. I will be getting the 19lb one. When I did anchor in the wind it broke loose until it hooked a submerged tree. All things considered this is a nice item. ... show more
