We have many dry bags, we are avid kayakers, and very outdoorsy people, but we have never had a dry backpack. We chose this bag because it was in our price range and it looked and sounded durable based on the description. We were a little nervous because it wasn't cheap and we wondered really just how well it was made. Once we received it we were extremely impressed with the feel of it, the stitching is very nice and has some sort of sealant over it. We immediately packed it (as we were already getting ready for a trip) and were astounded at how much we were able to place inside it. We spent a week in Utah playing in Lake Powell and then hiking the narrows, if you've ever been, there are some spots that are deep so you must swim to the other side, so here was the real test, IS IT WATERPROOF? We both crossed our fingers because cellphones, keyless entry keys are inside. With the backpack on my husbands back he went in, the backpack was completely underwater as he swam through, once on the other side we opened it to check if water made it in IT DID NOT! Completely waterproof as they stated. We are so glad we purchased this backpack and we use it all the time, even while day hiking in the rain.

Great pack. Have used it on 2 multiday bikepacking/packrafting trips in which I needed it to be waterproof as well as holding a hydration bladder. Not a drop of water in the pack from the rafting part of the trips. It has even turned into my everyday bike commuting bag. Only 2 issues I have are 1) that the side pockets could be slightly deeper to better hold water bottles and 2) that there were a couple more gear loops (there is 1) to attach more gear. Very small issues. Very comfortable (at least for me, that can be subjective), extremely well built pack, would recommend if you need a waterproof backpack. I am pretty tough on gear and this has been very durable.

I use this pack primarily to store my camera equipment when traveling, camping or hiking. Keeps everything safe and bone dry even in down pours and snow. Has been extremely rugged so far. More color options and a way to add a lock to the main compartment would be awesome added features, but overall I cannot complain.

I love backpacks and I have several. I bought this for a kayaking trip and love it. It has definitely taken over as my everyday pack. Its lightweight, simple & straightforward, has everything you need (bladder pocket + a med pocket), yet is a great size. I highly recommend it.

Great backpack and very comfortable. Tested it in the pool did a full submerge and everything stayed dry until I went crazy with it. stars because the first hike I took it on set it down on some rocks and made little punctures on the bottom. No bueno

This bag really is waterproof. I used it for a multidestination trip- kayaking, hiking in the rain forest, fishing. Being able to throw my bag in the boat without worrying if it got wet was wonderful.
