We've got the gear to get you there The Sea to Summit Ether Light XT Extra-Thick Insulated Air Mattress is a lightweight, 3-season sleeping pad for backpacking, camping, and bike touring. Its Air Sprung Cell construction mimics a spring mattress, maintaining more body contact area and even dispersion of pressure for restful backcountry slumber. At 4 inches thick, the sleeping pad features a single-layer design with flexible loops that create large air pockets, providing a plush, deep sleeping surface that is ideal for side sleepers. The multi-function reversible valve allows for fast and easy inflation—with the integrated Airstream Pumpsack which inflates the pad in just a few breaths—one-way deflation for quick packup, and fine-tuning of air pressure for a good night’s sleep. The insulated pad features Thermolite insulation which lofts up inside the Air Sprung Cells to prevent convective heat loss to the cold ground, as well as Exkin Platinum reflective fabric which radiates heat back during sleep (R-Value of 3.2—the higher the R-value, the warmer the sleeping pad). Non-slip 30D/40D nylon face fabric is durable and quiet. Took the pad on it's first backpacking trip. It rolled up small and weighed in just over a pound. I really loved the inflation process using the stuff sack. It was very easy and I was able to do inflate from inside my 1P tent, so it didn't take a lot of space. I'm 6'2 and 220 and a side sleeper. It was very comfortable all night (I got the large). Bought one of these for a bikepacking trip. First night was very comfortable, after that every night a few holes would pop up in the welded portions of the baffles every night. I would patch them but seems like it was improperly made as there are now 15+ leaks on the top of the mattress.

Love the size and the light weight. Love how fast it blows up. A little disappointed in the comfort. It is good, but My big Agnes insulated Q core is more comfortable (I am a side sleeper) but it is also much heavier. Disappointed in the durability. Used it on one, 5 day campout. When I went to use it this year, there is a slow leak somewhere. It was not abused and I am very careful with using my gear. For the price, I expected it to last much longer ... show more

I liked the thickness and how compact it is, but of was loud when you move on it. It's like rolling around on garbage bags. (Updated) I slept on it last night for only the 4th time and it went flat on me. I use a cot plus air mattress, so it's not like I was putting it on anything that would put holes in it. Hiked the PCT this past summer. This pad only lasted two weeks before popping. I checked all over the top and bottom of the pad and couldn't detect the leak meaning that it likely failed on the seem. Would not reccomend
