This was a lovely project to do with my aging mother who has limited dexterity. I was looking for something simple and quick that would still turn out something impressive. The project included easy to read instructions. All of the items listed were included in the kit. The finished produced looked very similar to the picture in the description. This would be good for children, but only with adult supervision, because epoxy is used. The epoxy did not have strong fumes, which was appreciated. The only thing we didn't care for were the little plastic loops on the seashells. The could have been snipped off with something very sharp, we just didn't have strong enough scissors.

I purchased this for an added decoration for my beach condo. I had a lot of fun working with the resin (first time user). It was super simple to mix and use. The outcome was fantastic. Everyone loves how it looks. I will be buying more in the future.

This item is actually a really cool craft. I took away one star due to the lack of directions. Before doing it, I looked online and pulled up the video and videos on other sites that sold this. Some sites had additional directions. I wish that some of the people who loved this craft would have put detailed instructions. That would’ve made it much easier. That is what I’d like to do. First, I did not realize that this actually is on the outside of the included mat. So it is touchable when it is in the frame. It is important to wear gloves when using the resin, as it is very difficult to remove from your hands. Also, line the place that you will be working. I would recommend using a smaller glove than the one included in the box as it is difficult to work with such a large one size glove.1. Take out all materials. 2. There are two bottles of liquid. Those get combined into a larger plastic mixing container. Mix. 3. There is a plexiglass sheet. You have to remove the film from both sides of this plexiglass. It is not sticky, they are just there to protect the sheet. 4. I put my frame together with the clear plexiglass so that when I did my design, I knew it would fit perfectly. 5. Pour a little of the resin mixture onto the center of the plexiglass. Spread it thinly with a brush, trying not to go too heavy when you get close to the frame. You will have a lot left over, but you will use that to pour on top of your finished design. 6.I did not use the included shells, but took shells that I had collected to use in the kit. I did use the starfish and the turtles. 7.It is important to try and get your pieces in a single layer. They are very small and tend to sit on top of each other. There are a variety of tools you can use to push the pieces, and they push very easily on the resin surface. 8. Start with the brown pieces and spread them out however, you would like, along the bottom. I left space is where I put my shell. 9. Once that is in place, take the blue pieces and spread them out. 10. Place the turtles where you would like them. Again, I did not put colored pieces under the turtles. 11. When you’re done, move things around so you like the finished design. 12. Take the remainder of the resin mixture and pour it slowly on top of the design. You may need to spread it with the brush. *It takes about 24 hours for the resident to dry. Enjoy! Hope this helps!

I was very disappointed! No directions or pattern. They have a barcode for directions but goes to unsafe site. Not enough glass to complete picture!

So worth it. I saw FB ads for these in all different designs and I almost bought them, I thought to myself let me check Amazon, and sure enough all designs were there and THEYVWERE HALF THE PRICE. These are fun and easy can be done inside or outside kids will love it but suuoervised if small because it is sea glass and has tools. I would say maybe ages 9-10 and up. Great for summer or rainy days and for a homemade gift. I now have one of each on my wall and will be buying more to make as gifts.
