I ordered the crystal black cover for my husbands MacBook Pro 14 inch. The cover fit perfect, was very easy and quick to slip it on the computer. You can still see the Apple logo through the case, it gives it a masculine, classy look while keeping the computer protected from the elements. The keyboard cover fit great and easy to use, keeps the keyboard clean, plus it does not slip and it is easy to still type. My husband is a woodworker so the plugs for the computer keep out the sawdust and preventing damage to the computer. The carry case is just average.

I ordered this in November 2023 and have to say, despite various reviews I am surprised it lasted me as long as it did. To my own clumsiness, I have the tendency to bang the corner of my laptop when putting it away. The case did it's job and took the beating it didn't deserve. I'm here now because I dropped my laptop this morning onto some concrete and the case slipped off(due to prior beating) yet my laptop still survived with exception to very minor scratches. The product was delivered as promised. I opened the package and all the items were packaged inside a plastic bag. I recommend for everyone to save he plastic bag as an extra means of protection from water, spills, or for traveling, or in case you need to get to your car on the rain. The screen protector did not have any other tools (other than a small cleaning rag), and you will need a credit card after you apply it (expect lots of bubbles) to work out all the bubbles. It takes time and patience, but it is worth it. The case is very easy to install and does offer a great deal of protection to your computer. However, this will also add some weight to your MacBook Pro. When installing the bottom case, follow the sequence shown on the packaging plastic bag and make sure you hear all the clicks. I strongly recommend before installing the case to wipe down with alcohol the MacBook Pro to remove any dust or particles that can cause the aluminum to become etched. The protecting sleeve is made of cloth and foam and provides an extra level of security to the computer. You can slide it in, and for long term storage there is a flap that will enclose the entire computer. The keyboard protector is also very good. It is a pain to have to clean dust and particles stuck in between the buttons of the keyboard, the keyboard cover will eliminate or minimize this issue. Inside the package there are some rubber dust protectors that will fit your usb C ports and headphone jack (5 plugs total). What I did was to install all of them but one USB C port which I use it to charge the computer daily. I placed the extra inside the plastic packaging (the one I use for extra protection) in case I need it for a replacement. Finally, I noticed the case further protects the screen of the MacBook Pro because the securing latches add a small amount of space preventing the keyboard from being mushed into the screen and damaging it. This kit had everything I needed and so far for a much lower price. I looked at buying the items separately (case, keyboard cover, screen protector, etc.) but in the end it would have been much more expensive. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Let this review be the deciding factor for you. I've had this kit for 4 months and used it daily. Everything, and I mean everything, that comes with this kit is absolutely useless. It felt like a great deal when I purchased it, but not 4 months later and I will be replacing everything. The screen protector: It holds onto dust and cat hair and makes the screen appear much dirtier than it would without it. On top of that, whatever plastic material it is makes it difficult to clean and keep clean. The port covers: Pointless. I put them all in, but once I went to use the ports, I took them out and they were gone. Generally speaking, I don't quite understand the value of these. The hard case: Even when clipped into place, it doesn't stay on. Additionally, for some reason there are really terrible cracks on the corners where the case hinges? Not only have I never dropped my laptop, I also keep it in a giant, puffy laptop sleeve for extra protection. For there to be these terrible cracks is a testament to just how bad this cover is. The keyboard cover: How this cover didn't fit out the box is beyond me. It doesn't lay flat. At first, I thought it was because you had to use it so that the grooves of the cover could settle into the grooves of the keyboard. 4 months later, I'm here to tell you it doesn't get better. It's like the cover has been stretched out, but it still fits end to. Skip this and save your money. I hate almost everything about this except the color on the case, which is why I'm not annoyed I can't make this a 0 star review.
