Works great on Xbox, Android, and PC. No stick drift, and the back paddles/buttons are easy to hit. I have fewer unwanted hits due to their size, low profile, and placement. The low latency adapter that plugs into the Xbox or PC feels faster and more responsive, but that might be a placebo, or it might be responsible for the 0.2 increase in KD! Did not work on Apple Ipad (iOS 26). It would connect and quickly disappear from the bluetooth devices, never completed correctly. I contacted Scuf support, and they were great to work with. They were very responsive and even sent a brand-new replacement when we couldn't get it to connect to the iPad Pro M5 running iOS 26. I Wish I could give this steaming pile of dog crap a 0, out of the box, you think “this is nice” but when you actually play with it for more than 4 days it already gets stick drift, LITERALLY THE ONLY REASON TO BUY THIS IS FOR THE HALL EFFECT STICKS (which prevent stick drift) 0/10 do not recommend, its not even comfortable and the controller is too big, i can think of a million ways to spend 200$ and this might be the worst. ... show more

I have purchased two Xbox Elite controllers as well as a Turtle Beach Stealth Pivot controller. All expensive. All poorly built crap that suffers from major build quality issues. For the price, the quality of other ostensibly "high end" Xbox-style controllers should elicit groans of disgust from the entire consumer base. To be clear, the bar is low. The bar is "the controller works correctly". I didn't even need the SCUF Valor to be a great controller I just needed all of the buttons to work when I press them. But frankly I love this controller, the ergonomic design is well put together and is clearly built for greater longevity than the Xbox Elite whose grip surfaces are simply rubber slips that are glued directly to the hard plastic underneath, which makes degradation inevitable. The underside buttons and trigger click features work beautifully with satisfying feedback. The sticks do not drift. It comes with 3 modes, which is a feature I disagree with. It should work interchangeably as an Xbox/PC/Bluetooth controller simultaneously without having to change modes. It is an annoying extra step for certain applications like the Playstation 2 emulator which seems to only recognize the controller in the "PC" configuration. Regardless, it is a simple switch. If you are looking for a high quality Xbox style controller with underside buttons, which at this point are features I feel are semi-necessary for the quality of life experience, I think you may literally fail to do better than this controller at any price. ... show more

    • Great Potential, But Needs Software Polish

The SCUF Valor Pro is an impressive controller with a premium, smooth feel, but it definitely seems like it needed a bit more refinement before release. The hardware itself is solid, but the software experience held it back for me. Updating the controller was frustrating—I had to reinstall drivers just to get the companion app to recognize it so I could adjust the settings. Even after updating, some of the buttons feel overly sensitive. When typing messages on Xbox, a single press often registers multiple times, especially with the menu and share buttons. It’s not a deal‑breaker, but it does get annoying. I’m hopeful these issues can be fixed with future firmware updates, because the potential is clearly there. On the positive side, the controller is extremely comfortable, even during long sessions. The instant triggers and back paddles make a noticeable difference in FPS games, and the paddle layout feels natural and ergonomic. The grip has a great, almost “sticky” texture that keeps the controller secure in your hands. After about three weeks of use, my PUBG KD has gone up by around 20%, and I can genuinely feel the performance boost in high‑pressure moments. Final verdict: It’s a great controller with strong competitive advantages, but expect some early bugs and be prepared to update it through the app occasionally. If SCUF smooths out the software, this could easily be one of the best controllers on the market. ... show more

First impressions is high quality and zero stick drift. After a fairly easy set up, the controller has been super easy to use with amazing response times. My only complaint is the need to use an wireless dongle to connect to.

This is my second SCUF controller, and the Valor Pro Wireless continues to impress with its premium build quality and well-balanced feel. The wireless connection is fast and reliable with no lag and setup on Xbox is quick. The rear paddles are definitely the standout feature, they’re easy to reach, highly responsive, and make a real difference in my games. The thumb-sticks feel smooth and precise.
