Unfortunately the long stick on the Elite Series 2 is concave. I like a concave stick on the left, but a domed stick for aiming. I tried these, Kontrol Freek, and Skull & Co. to fix that problem and these were my favorite of the bunch. They blend in with the stock look of the Elite Series 2 and have a nice texture around the outside, similar to the stock thumb sticks. So if you're looking for something more subtle than Kontrol Freek these are a good option. They are almost the exact same height when paired with the default thumb stick as the Elite Series 2's long stick. The only possible downside I can think of is the surface area is a bit smaller than the Kontrol Freeks I tried, so that's something to be aware of.

I do a lot of long gaming sessions and the OEM joystick caps tend to wear down and loose grip over time. I often switch to metal ones but the one I previously purchased started making squeaking noises so I gave this one a try. The fitment is great and even after long and hard gaming sessions they don’t move or show any signs of looseness and they feel great. Since they fit over the OEM caps you can always reuse them when you eventually get stick drift. They obviously raise the joysticks up a little so if you’re not use to it, it may feel weird at first. But if you’re use to it like I am it’s not a big deal and I feel like you’ll get adjusted to it pretty quick.

I have been looking for quite some time for some domed thumbsticks for a Dualshock 4, but I've only found junk. I shunned thumbstick covers for 6 years after trying some geltabz and hating them, but these are fantastic. One problem I have with them is that you can't pick a non-raised option. In order to get 2 non-raised covers, you need to buy the "8-pack" (this is actually a 6-pack with 2 bases to put them on, the unpaid intern who made the listing failed to properly describe the item in the drop-down menu, not that I can blame them) Worth noting is that on initial installation, they will feel very slippery and this worried me, but they got better within one session. It's just how the rubber compound comes out of the factory, the oils on your skin and abrasions of moving your thumbs around on 'em will break it in.

Fantastic! This a review for players who play racing games or sims on controller since that’s what I’ve mainly played for 20 years, so this review mainly applies to those types of players. The Tactical Scuff caps are as good as it gets, the low rise cap is perfect for people who sit their thumb in the center cap or hang their thumb off the edge which makes it universally well suited for any games you own. The texture I can best describe it is as, Similar to a Xbox controller but the cap has softer texture inside the cap and around the edges of the stick. When it comes to racing sims on controller or racing games in general I’ll be using these for the foreseeable future.

While SCUFs have their merits, I personally favor KontrolFreaks. Your choice should hinge on your gaming preferences and comfort. KontrolFreaks offer a superior grip and larger surface area, courtesy of high-friction material and an extended thumbstick design. These features significantly enhance precision and control. If you prefer the familiarity and feel of traditional rubber-gripped joysticks, SCUFs could be a better fit. If precision and grip are your priority, go for KontrolFreaks. If you value a classic joystick feel but with improvements, SCUFs may be more appealing. Your decision should reflect your personal gaming style and comfort."

Tried a few different grips on the DualSense and these are the first that feel solid and don’t impede the stick movement at all. They feel like good quality, and coming with extra caps they are a better value than most out there. I don’t know how long they’ll hold up, but the DualSense sticks start to wear down within a couple weeks for me so they can’t be any worse!

They will not work on Razer Wolverine Ultimate controllers. The adapters are way too small to fit my thumbsticks. I didn’t even try forcing them on, I applied barely any pressure at all and it dug into my thumbstick. Now my thumbstick is damaged and I’m out $20.00 cause of these “universal” grips.

The grip is nice, but the covers fit onto a cheaply made plastic clip that goes over your controller thumbstick. They don't fit directly on. I'm not even sure why they come in a 4 pack because you can only use 2 at a time.
