While it does keep the toilet cleaner and fresher for a longer period, I’ve found that it doesn’t eliminate all stains completely, so occasional scrubbing is still needed. It keeps the toilet decently clean, but it's also a little hard to tell because the water is a perpetual dark blue which I honestly found a little embarrassing. Lasts a while and even in between flushes when I could see clearly it wasn't keeping the toilet all the clean anyway.
