The media could not be loaded. This JDVOOTD programmable LED sign is so cool, so fun, and so easy to use. You connect it to a USB-power supply (like an AC adapter, car-DC adapter, or a power-bank) install the “CoolLED1248” app on your phone (from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store), start the app, pair the sign via Bluetooth (which automatically appears in a list) and get going with your sign-designs. The app is so intuitive that you can just play around and start designing within minutes. You can handwrite or hand-draw stuff, or use the built-in fonts, or the built-in graphics & animations, or upload photos, etc. You can choose borders and colors and scroll-speed, and all kinds of stuff. You can create and save multiple designs. When you’re done, you load them onto the sign in whatever order you like. Once the designs are uploaded to the sign for display, the sign will continue to run even if the phone isn’t connected (though there is an on/off switch). It’s intuitive, fun, and it looks great. (I don’t think photos and videos can capture how vibrant the display is, but I posted 2 videos of signs that I made within minutes of opening the box. That’s how easy it is.) I put the sign in my front window, and it just stuck to the glass without me having to add any kind of tape or adhesive. Very convenient and impressive. The sign is surprisingly flexible and stores compactly. I will probably mostly use this for parties and for welcoming guests and for displaying at my patio bar. I’ve only just begun to play with some of the features, and I can’t wait to do some fancier designs and animations. At $19.99 (at the time of this review), this JDVOOTD LED sign is an amazing value. So much fun. I think it would make a great gift. 5-stars.

Very bright large display - good for ride share/delivery drivers when viewing from a distance. The app is easy to use and the bluetooth connected quickly. The long power cable has a physical on/off switch, and the app lets you turn off (blank) the display as well, so you don't have to unplug it. The app lets you load up a sequence of items to be displayed - text, drawing, animations, etc. and will play them in sequence. Each can have its own settings for how fast or slow it should scroll (if necessary). You can turn each of the items on and off quickly via the app if you only want some of them to play. The less complicated the graphic/animation, the quicker it will upload to the display when you make changes. There is a large selection of graphics, and you can upload images as well. The simpler the better thoigh. This is also fun for displaying messages or graphics. Halloween is going to be fun with a pair of eyes watching the cars behind me! It can also do an audio-responsive display from music/audio playing on your phone or using the microphone on your device, but those require that you give the app additional permissions to access the audio and/or microphone. If you are not comfortable doing that, don't worry, they are not enabled by default.

The sign is cool and lets you display any text in many different ways, the app is fairly easy to use and the Bluetooth connectivity is good. They obviously put a lot of effort into this… But you have to put it on the outside of your car and have a wire strung through a crack in your window to power it.

The media could not be loaded. The JDVOOTD LED sign works, but not as good as I hoped. If you use the app to use pre-set words and such it looks great. But if you use the image function where you can take an image to try and duplicate, you can barely make it out. For words this is great, but for pictures or images, not great.

This is a really fun product. It has a ton of preprogrammed pictures and sayings. The color is good and it has many options to go along with the graphics. Most graphics are great, but a few are a bit blurry. I feel if the screen was a bit larger that wouldn't be an issue any longer. Very user friendly and quite fun to use.
