Last season was the first time I used this winterguard product. I felt that it was a gimmick fertilizer because there are so many different types of granular fertilizer that Scott puts out in the market. I noticed that my grass recovered quicker this summer with a dark green along with a better spring up as well. I am convinced that this additional application late fall makes a great difference!

When this fertilizer arrived my lawn maintenance man wanted to wait for fall clean up to put it down. I live in Alaska and you the weather was contrary this summer and there’s no proper time like the present. My neighbor came over today and put it on. It took about 40 minutes. I was so pleased. I am using Scott’s every five weeks from the end of May to the beginning of October. I went on the Scott’s website and looked at all the fertilizer and decided on my lawn’s needs. Since I didn’t think my hardware store carried it, I ordered it from Amazon. I’m 81, and can do the gardening work; but my neighbor is a wonderful person, energetic and she was a huge help today!
