Works for what I bought it for. Good for lightly textured walls that command strips won't work on. Won't hold heavy things, but can hold a 27x40 poster if you use about 8 of them. I wanted to hang my poster temporarily until I could get a frame for it, and since it's an original I didn't want to use something that would do damage when removed. So far this has fit the bill: tried to hang it with 6, and when it fell from the weight I had to remove a couple and they came off without any damage (left a little bit of residue though). Using 8 of them the poster has been up for 3 days and hasn't fallen yet. A smaller poster (about 11x17) that I hung with these has held no problem with only 4. I have some of this same tape that is on a roll and at least 1 inch wide. Can't find that so when with the small mounting squares. They do the job if you use a number of them. It is nice they are already cut and just peal off the card. The mounting squares at least are not real expensive.
