Poor quality butane may contain impurities. Only perform refill in a well ventilated area. Make sure the lighter/torch is completely OFF Make sure the tank is empty Set the flame level to the lowest level Press the butane fuel can's nozzle down into the refill valve for about 5-10 seconds and repeat if necessary until it is almost full Wait 5-10 minutes before using DOs and DON'TsAlways use caution when using lighters/torches Only use it in well ventilated area Use caution when adjusting flame sizes, point it away when doing so, do it slowly DO NOT make excessive flame size adjustment abruptly. Never point the nozzle at you or any other person, always point it away. These are HIGH quality, extremely Durable, Trustworthy products, right out of the package it lights up and goes. The grip is amazing, and fits in your hand very comfortably better than any other torch we have held before, its very easy to refill and has a extremely long life. The colors are just AMAZING, and the boxes they come in are very Elegant and well designed. We have had no problems at all with these Torches, if your into Dabs, Marijuana, Cooking Food, or simply just want a Torch this is the one you will want. The design is so easy, and well made it would fit into a holster even to carrry, and fit into any purse and bag no problem. This Torch has a very big adjustable flame at a very low cost for the torch, we HIGHLY recommend to use NEON universal premium butane X11 here from Amazon the package deals are Amazing, we have had absolutely no issues with these and they last way longer than other butane at a very good price. (updated) still works very great, swear by these bought 6 already. A few customers worry about being burned on these but I can assure you that if you can get hurt by these, theres not a safe torch out there for you... there easy to control they have a guard for a reason if you cant use the torch the proper way use matches. ... show more

Reliable and extremely easy to use. The only complaint I have currently is that the butane (lotus premium) I'm using creates a lot of blow off which is a first for me cuz it's what I've used on my previous scorch torches. Either way not worth taking a star of for that.... PS this is torch is not intended for long durations of use maybe 5 to 7 minutes with approx 4inch flame ... show more

Now it is not usuable. The fluid leaks right out of it which I dont think should happen so fast. Even the cheaper torches last longer.

the overall build for the price is average. I wish it was a bit more weighted for safety and comfort while table top standing. if the shell was metal instead of plastic would have sold me. Positives: -quality dial build for flame functionality control -small and discreet overall size -the clicker/ igniter button is average. feels a little loose but not terrible -easy to use Negatives: -poor quality locking button. will definitely fail eventually -outer case/ shell is cheap and feels light weight -small tank -only has a 1yr warranty ... show more

First, I'd like to say that the seller shipped the item promptly and it arrived nicely packaged and it comes in a beautiful, gift able box. The torch itself came with butane already in it. This was very unusual and a first for me. The torch is very light weight and easy to work with one hand. It's made with a plastic body and aluminum outter piece. It fits well in my hand and I love that it's easy to lock and adjust the flame with one hand. My biggest complaint is how loud the click is when lighting. It can be heard across the house. Other cons, are that it feels like it's cheaply made, tho I'm sure it's not, it's just really light weight and I feel like if I were to drop it at any height at all, it would break. It feels like it should be a $10 torch not a $30 torch. I suggest using a high quality butane. I have used 3 different brands so far and when using the lower quality type, it wouldn't produce a flame until I turned it up quite a bit. But that's no fault of the torch, but of the fuel. The torch looks good and reminds me of a race car. I wouldn't recommend this torch, but I wouldn't discourage people from buying it either. I think for the price people would expect it to be heavier and feel sturdier in their hand. But the size and the ability to use with one hand is great.
