Half the time I buy an alternator or starter at the local parts store I get 1 or 2 faulty ones before I het a winner, I do mechanic work for a living and faulty "new" parts are such a problem that I won't buy a starter or alternator without them testing it first. I had high hopes for this alternator. It arrived poorly packaged, was slighly damaged from shipping, and then the bearings went out before there were even 200 miles on it. I took the loss and bought a Bosch. The Bosch has worked perfectly.

Fantastic, it's a great price, half of what I was going to have to pay locally. My car runs great now. It is from China, but hey, my hyundai is from korea or something so what the hack. I bought the 13 dollar 2 year warranty just in case. I will update if anything goes wrong.
