Perfect match for factory installed alternator, other than the solenoid stem. The solenoid stem is a bit smaller than the original part, so it doesn't fit as snugly, but it still works just fine. Installed in my dad's van over a month ago and is still working great. They are NOT easy to install, but this is due to the Dodge's design and not due to the alternator. (Will need tensioner pully release tool. Cannot access with regular tools.) ... show more

This alternator was bad from the start. Haven't been able to drive my wheelchair van, for awhile because of course when you have it put in, you think it's good. So trying to use my wheelchair ♿️ van. I get dashboard alerts going off. Trust me its terrifying being a woman in a wheelchair. Just stuck there. Need wheelchair ramp to get out. Flashers to work because you're in distress. Alot of people don't realize why you're just stopped in traffic. Not getting out or turning flashers on . At 1st trouble replaced battery . Then we replaced alternator. Then the belts and pully. Someone finally brought over a tester to check brand new alternator it's supposed give reading of 14.2 this one gives out a 10.6 useless. And I tried to contact the company guess they no longer do business with Amazon. So I'm out almost 129 bucks. While I was waiting for mechanic to do all these things was little over Amazon 30 day guarantee policy. So I have to buy another alternator can't ever get my money back. It's just wrong!! I think in some cases where there's supposed to be a 1 year warranty. And Amazon doesn't have seller any longer can't reach them. Its only been 40 days or so since order was received you spent days waiting for seller to contact you Amazon should honor the product guarantee. All I get from Amazon is sorry seller's no longer with us. So they customer is just out of luck. ... show more

Bought this to replace the alternator on my 2005 dodge caravan SXT 3.3 L.. it’s been installed for over a week and it’s been working great. Decent quality and making the correct voltage. Saved over $100 buying it here then the local auto parts store or other online retailers.

Alternator dummy light would come on sometimes at traffic lights when the van was in gear and the idle was low. This alternator was about 12 years old so I thought it might be time. pretty easy install but not that comfortable in the 100 degree Florida heat on a driveway in the sun. But saved several hundred dollars doing it myself. ... show more
