Bought, Used Like New. Packaging was awfull. Part of case was cracked, positive post bent and missing nut. Was able to use item. Was NOT, like new.

Install in a 2004 GX470 took me 1.5hrs, expect a little more for the non-seasoned wrench turner. While it "appeared" to be a solid unit, the first unit whined during idle. Also, the factory plug pulls out easily from the plug on the adapter. While it worked fine for a few miles, the whine is concerning so we returned and exchanged for another of the same one, and again, same whine all over again, which does not install confidence for the long term. The OEM Lexus alternator lasted 21 years, doubtful this one would.
