That way, hopefully there will always be a scissors nearby when I need one! Great value for the money. Sharp enough to cut wrapping paper. I wouldn’t use for sewing projects. Seamstresses know they need their serious scissors - are not those. They are functional for cutting off tags, cutting paper, and whatever household needs you have requiring a basic scissors. Do not cut artificial flowers with wire with these scissors. The scissors will separate and get stuck and also the blades will get notched and basically ruined by cutting wire.

For the life of me, I can never keep scissors in the right places. Somehow, they always wander away and when I need them, they are not there. Somewhere in this house, there must be a covey of scissors, hiding from he, for fear of actually cutting something. So, in spite of having at least a dozen pair to my name, I ordered these. At least for the moment, I have a nice set of scissors, with good weight, sharpness, a variety of colors, and what seems to be good quality. I have also labelled them according to where they are supposed to STAY and included a small note on the consequences that will be faced by anyone who dares violate these instruction. Between us, I am sure I'll have scissors in my cart again before long unless I find out where they are all hiding. When that happens, I'll update this review with news of these elopers!

These are not my "best" scissors, but they are good. And they are affordable enough that I don't mind loaning them out to my family members, who often forget to return them. Definitely better than other similarly priced scissors I've bought.

As I have gotten older, I have found to simplify as I go. I was always looking for scissors while working on my farm and would have to stop and hunt them down. I ordered these and now I keep a pair on my side by side, a pair in my workshop, a pair in my garden area, a pair in my barn, and a pair on my deck sink area. Now I always have a pair handy and they were very reasonably priced. Well worth the money and eliminates the frustration of wasted time looking for a pair.
