  • Best Tricycle I've Ever Seen
Color: Blue Style: Classic Tricycle
Santa brought this for my Son on Christmas of 2009 (it is 16 months old, as of this writing). I've got to say, I'm extremely impressed with what Santa's elves have done here. This is, easily, the highest-quality, most well-made tricycle I have ever seen. Indeed, before seeing this with my own two eyes, I didn't know such a well-made tricycle even existed! Everything about this tricycle oozes quality and, a year and a half later, it is still going strong. To begin, the design of the trike is great. The smooth curves and retro styling make this really eye-catching. The paint, chrome, and trim are beautiful. The wooden, chrome-trimmed deck in back is a great touch which my son uses frequently to tote around toys, etc. The thick, fully-treaded, pneumatic tires are great and, after a year and a half of use, have not cracked or deflated in the slightest. Even the quality of the well-secured, fabric handlebar tassels is impressive. The inclusion of a steel handlebar bell is yet another nice touch. The low center of gravity makes this a supremely safe vehicle. Not only does it look cool, but I can't imagine this thing tipping over. As a matter of principal I still insist that my son wears a helmet, but that has more to do with me teaching him good safety habits than anything else because I doubt the helmet will ever have a chance to do its job. It's as if a steel-framed bicycle cross-bred with one of the "Big Wheels" we adults all loved as children. Please be aware that this tricycle is big and the reach from the seat to the pedals is far, even when the seat is adjusted to be as close to the pedals as possible. I'd say most kids can start using it around 2 1/2 years (sorry that's a little vague, but I'm not sure how to properly measure the seat/pedal distance and equate that to a precise height). The flip side of this is that it will last a long time (with regard to supporting your child's growth). When Santa brought this for my 22-month old, he could barely reach the pedals and he's always been quite tall for his age. For us, it was no problem though; he just scooted around on it until he could reach the pedals, which was easy given to the low profile. As far as I'm concerned, if you're in the market for a tricycle and your child is big enough to reach the pedals, there is simply nothing else worth considering. If your child is not quite big enough, but will be soon, I'd recommend you at least consider waiting so that you can purchase this tricycle rather than any other. Zero complaints. ... show more

  • Best bike
Color: Blue Style: Classic Tricycle
I put this together in no time with little effort. It is so sturdy- like something made years ago. The quality is awesome. I ordered the blue and it is beautiful. The seat is very big and looks comfortable. Everything is working perfectly.

  • Great Trike!!
Color: Blue Style: Classic Tricycle
Let's start with the with some background This was my third attempt with the roadster. #1 had a stem clamp too small to fit on the handle bar assembly and for some reason would not tighten enough so that the tire and steering would slip out of alignment. #2 appeared to just get lost in shipping #3 as of two weeks is perfect ... it's a cool looking tricycle for sure. bold paint, cool fenders, that standing board on the back is neat as well. the low center of gravity means highly unlikely to tip unless going at VERY fast speeds. Assembly is a breeze for the most part. And you should be able to have it all together with proper tools within 15-mintes (perhaps as long as 30-minutes) You can adjust the seat which is of course awesome to accommodate different sizes which is second most important to ... real rubber tires. plastic trike/big wheel tires (I can even remember as a child some 35 years ago) are maddeningly frustrating due to slipping. With the roadster, tire slippage is no issue My 2-year old loves this tricycle and he is constantly complimented on how cool it looks which, for a 2-year old to hear from his big cousins, may make him happiest of all ... show more

  • Terrific Tricycle!!!
Color: Blue Style: Classic Tricycle
I bought this trike for my 4 year old grandson and it's awesome! He can easily pedal the trike both up and down an incline. My only concern is it doesn't have brakes. He puts his feet down to slow and stop. Love the design, it's made from good quality materials, and is striking to look at. Also, reasonably priced. My 2 yr old grandaughter wants one too so Grandma will buy another one for her next birthday! ... show more

  • Tricycle
Color: Blue Style: Classic Tricycle
We bought this bike for my grandson who is developmentally delayed due to cancer treatment. This bike resembles a Big Wheel that was previously made. The bike seat is wide and low to ground so our grandson can get on and off easily. Pedals move even if someone pushing bike from behind so this helps him learn to pedal. Bike is well made and we are very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • Awesome!
Color: Blue Style: Classic Tricycle
We got this for our son for Christmas. He's an average size 28-month-old. With the seat at the closest position to the pedals his feet will reach but his foot falls off of the outside pedal when he turns the front wheel, so he still has a little room to grow into it. For the most part he just walks with it but we're working on his technique. We get a lot of comments at the park about how cool this tricycle looks. The wood step on the back gives it an awesome retro look. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to assemble and ours didn't have any problems with the wheels as some negative reviews mentioned. I think it's a steal at under $100. We really wanted to get him the blue one but it was more expensive and inventory would come and go so we waited until it was in-stock and I think $89.99. Not the cheapest price for a tricycle but it's a quality product and will hopefully last until he's ready for a bicycle. ... show more
