This is a great family bike, the baby seat I got is a hamax and it fit easly and the basket and mirrors were inexpensive on Amazon. Also the bike isn't so girly that my husband doesn't mind riding the baby around once and a while too. It's a nice smooth ride, was very easy to assemble and a great way to spend time with the kids.. I am not going to lie, this bike is not only cute but super comfortable and easy to ride. I haven't ridden a bike in over 20 years and I wanted something that was comfortable so I could ride a bike with my toddler. I put it together myself with minimal assistance. It is a 3 speed with no hand brake so that may have been why it was so easy but definitely someone with minor mechanical skills can accomplish. On this bike, you are seated more upright making it very comfortable plus has an extra large seat which is nice. I strongly recommend this bike for anyone wanting to cruise around town. ... show more

Ordered this bike and assumed ourselves. It’s a great bike but losing a star because apparently it’s very important to have your bike assembled by a professional. There’s more to it than just putting some screws in. There’s a lot of adjustments that need to be made that I was unaware of. But I digress, tue bike came and the front rim was bent. Called Schwinn customer service and they were extremely helpful. Asked if I wanted to take to a local bike shop to have the wheel trued and submit for reimbursement or if I wanted them to send a new rim. I chose to take to a local shop. The shop said it was too bent to tru it. I let Schwinn know and they immediately sent me a new rim. Had the bike shop change it out for me and do all tue other adjustments needed and the bike is perfect. Love it. ... show more

My husband and I like to take leisurely rides on Rails to Trails, and I didn't need anything too intensive. We live in a hilly area, so this isn't the best option for me to cruise around town unless I want to be walking it up a lot of hills, but I knew that when I picked it out. Some other reviews have complained that it was difficult to put together, so I took it to a local bike repair shop, who assembled it for me for $40, a cost I consider well worth the preservation of my sanity and marriage. ... show more

I love the bike. Love the color, only 1 speed. It's perfect for me to toodle around town. HOWEVER... It was the WORST packaging! The box was arrived split open, dents to front fender & major scratch on the frame. The damage is cosmetic & doesn't affect how the bike rides. But it's SO disappointing to get it damaged when brand new. This is the 2nd of this bike I ordered. The 1st was lost is transit (I wouldn't be surprised packaging fell apart & parts fell out). I'm keeping it though as I'm afraid of returning because the 3rd might be in worse shape or lost like the first. I think I should get a partial discount/refund that it arrived damaged & for the headache of having to go through the reorder. ... show more

This was the worst purchase I have made on Amazon. I reluctantly ordered a bike online since stores are closed. I should have stuck to my gut. Assembly was ok. I am not skilled at building bikes and although the directions were for two different bikes, I was able to figure that out after some further research. The front fender was crooked and I scratched up the fender trying to straighten it to an acceptable level by tightening the screws. I can get over that, and it ended up looking great parked in my garage. Too bad I bought a bike hoping to use it. 🙄 As soon as I took it out for a “test drive” and switched the gears (I bought the 7 speed), the rear derailleur snapped and broke. I rode this bike for about 30 seconds and now will have to take it to a bike shop to see if they can repair it, as I didn’t keep the box and returns aren’t exactly easy (or cheap) with something that big. Extremely disappointed with this bike. Didn’t rate the comfort given the short time I was able to “ride” the bike. Maybe the one speed bikes are ok but the 7 speed is not. ... show more

I have to admit that after reading a few reviews concerning the amount of damage some these bikes sustained during shipping, I thought about not making the purchase. I thought surely these negative reviews must be a small sampling, so I took a chance (mainly because of the GREAT price) and I’m glad I did! I received the bike in 4 days and in perfect condition. The great care that as given in packaging this bike was exceptional! Not a dent and not a scratch! It actually took a little time getting this bike unpacked, that’s how secure the packaging was. I had this beautiful Schwinn put together in less than 20 minutes. This is a birthday present for my wife, and I have no doubt that she’s going to love it! ... show more
