I realized by called Schecter that there is no manual or warranty it's simply keeping your receipt so I was mistaken about it. Beautiful bass guitar.. it's almost as nice as my Rickenbacker.... amazing modern technology and the sound is fantastic in many different ways... not just for metal any more.. this one i very nice... Amazing bass! Plays as good as it looks, the e.q. and pickup controls also provide a huge range of tone. Definitely worth the price tag.

    • Should have never left the factory in it's condition.

For a bass that is almost $1000 it required an extensive setup. It came with really bad fret buzz at the second fret. This fret was way higher than the others. It needed tapped down. Then the truss had to be adjusted to get rid of the buzz at the 1st and 2nd fret. After the action was set to the proper height, the pickups sat too low with one being tilted at an angle. Extra foam had to be inserted on the pickup to raise it the proper height and correct the tilted pickup. I have bought 3 other Schecter basses and never had this much problems. Their quality control inspection on this bass was horrible. This bass also had excess lacquer and runs in the finish. I expected more from schecter since this is supposed to be a top end product from them ... show more

Absolutely amazing bass. It's not one of their remarkably affordable basses (e.g., the Stiletto Elite), but the pickups are superior, the range of sounds is consequently greater, and it feels and looks amazing (I bought the black satin version). I've played Schecters for years, and this was the first one that turned guitarists' and others' heads from the obvious superiority in sound over other models and other brands I've played. Definitely in a league with basses two or three times the price. I love having multiple basses to choose from (including different Schecters, an Ibanez, a Yamaha, an ESP/LTD, and a couple of Trabens, but at the moment, I pick this one up for just about every practice and gig. ... show more

This is an unbelievable Bass. The neck is smooth, fast and solid. The EMG's allow for all types of tones and sounds. The active EQ gives you so much control with the push/pull knobs.
