  • This has been my favorite guitar for 2 years!
Color: SWHT Style: C-7 DELUXE
Let me start this review by saying that I purchased this guitar back in early 2018. I was really getting into Animals as Leaders at the time, and I figured that this was a reasonably priced and pretty 7-string to get my feet wet with extended-range guitars as well as being my first Schecter. Little did I know how incredible this guitar actually is. After receiving it, I spent a couple days getting it setup exactly how I wanted it; perfecting intonation, action, truss rod tension, and stringing it all up with a couple sets till I found the weights that felt good for the 7th string. Since then, I have gotten a Schecter Omen-6 with similar quality. Schecter just makes great guitars, and this one is no exception. The surface finish is exceptional, and all the hardware has held up like brand new to this day. The factory pickups are also great as is, and it has a good noise free clean tone from the dual humbucker setup. The tuning knobs are smooth and hold tune really well. The only times I ever have to tune it anymore is for drop tunings! By this point, my only issue with it is that I love playing it so much that I don't hardly play any of my other guitars! Definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to get into 7-strings or just wants to expand their collection with this beauty. ... show more

Great 7 string. Perfect for rythum guitar players. Good constrution even for a cheaper guitar. Cant wait to put some emg pickups into it.

  • Excellent if you can work around the setup troubles.
Color: SWHT Style: C-7 DELUXE
The first time this guitar was sent to me, the pickup selector switch didn't even work. I sent it back and got a second one. This one came in with some setup issues, but overall was working fine. Particularly, it came in with a ton of buzz and excessively low action. I put some Dunlop strings on it, loosened the truss rod, and raised the action bit, and that solved the problem. The only issue with this purchase has been the difficulty I have had to get it with perfect factory conditions. But now that it is set up properly, I have no complaints. Perfect sound and flawless neck. Despite my history of issues with Schecter's manufactoring troubles, their sound is still practically unbeatable. ... show more

  • It djents
Color: SBK Style: C-7 DELUXE
This thing is beautiful. Amazing sound, was easy to instantly tune to drop G#, the fretboard is a perfect width for a rythmn guitarist, came with super thicc gauge strings (preemptively tuned to A standard), and honestly amazing for the price.

  • Not impressed
Color: SWHT Style: C-7 DELUXE
This guitar has gave me nothing but a headache and still sounds bad after having a full professional setup on it. It is also very heavy and uncomfortable to play unless your the size of a silverback gorilla.

  • amazing
Color: SWHT Style: C-7 DELUXE
For less than $300 dollars, an absolute steal. I just got this in yesterday and played it for a sold two hours last night. The satin finish is gorgeous, the sound is on par with a much more expensive instrument, and the hardware quality is definitely up to standard. Cannot recommend more highly if you are venturing to the world of 7 strings ... show more

Sounds amazing. I was debating on this or the Schecter Omen-7 and I’m happy I went with this. Best $289 I’ve ever spent
