  • Perfect for fuel storage!
We live in SW Florida, every year at the beginning of hurricane season we start stocking up on gas for our generator this way we avoid the craziness when a storm is coming. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this gas tank. It's made of thick, sturdy plastic. The hose and nozzle make it easy to dispense with no spillage. It has sturdy wheels for easy transport around our property. The pump is an padded bonus! It holds 15 gallons which beats having 3 small tanks all over the place. Great design and quality for the price. We keep it in our shed which makes it easy to fill up our mower and other yard tools. We like it so much we've already recommended it to our friends and neighbors. We plan on purchasing one or two more. Great product! ... show more

  • Nozzle started leaking after 7 uses - would not recommend
Update: The manufacturer quickly contacted me and sent me a new nozzle at no charge, so they get 5 stars for customer service! With that in mind, I updated the rating from 3 to 4 stars. This is a good tank with a very cheap plastic nozzle. It worked great for the first 7 uses, then the nozzle started leaking badly causing fuel to go into my canal. If you buy this tank, you should consider replacing the nozzle with a higher quality nozzle. I would not purchase this tank again. ... show more

  • POOR PRODUCT / LEAKS/ DANGEROUS
NOT MARINE GRADE FOR BOATING / bought 2 of these and the hose bracket broke on both of the tanks first. All wheels and fittings are completely rusted useless after 9 months. WILL NOT ROLL. Wheels Rusted solid and all bolts on the tank will be corroded away soon. PLASTIC NOZZLE WAS UNUSABLE FROM START. YOU HAVE TO SQUEEZE PUMP FOR EACH 1/4 cupful of gas. WEARS YOUR HAND OUT FAST AND IS NOT USABLE. Cut mine off and siphoned it out without the end on as it has no siphon option just pump away forever cause its slow. The bottom valve IS brass and I may be able to use that and siphon unit as an expensive plastic tank for a while or would give it a 1 star which it really deserves. ... show more

  • Very Convenient
For starters, I was able to make room in the garage, replacing three 5 gal gas cans, and plus it stands up against the wall put of the way. I plan to buy one more to replace the other three. Secondly, the pump handle is nice as well making it alot easier for the wife and son to fill up the lawn equipment as well vehicles, not a having to struggle holding up a gas can or spilling gas everywhere. If you're handy, here's an idea I plan to implement soon: building a wall pulley system in the garage near the garage door, which will allow faster filling if the unit is elevated above what you intend to fuel. This will also allow me to elevate 1 unit which be used first and store the second under it. May take a little bit of ingenuity, but just make sure to incorporate some sort of platform so it'll be stable as you lift it. Once empty, should be pretty light to lower and remove, and roll the full one onto the platform. The siphoning isn't terrible. A little slow if positioned on the ground, but there's no effort required. Just patience. As far as spillage, it'll take a few times to drain the hose without spilling. If the tank is relatively full, even if you lay it horizontally, and open the vent and valves, then depressing trigger handle, it may spit a little gas. Make sure you're not near anything electrical or hot enough to ignite the gas when doing this. I understand the concept, but the if there's too much gas in the tank, the hose may not drain completely. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied. I'm happiest about freeing up space in the garage more than anything. ... show more

  • 3 year Review.
I've owned this for 3 years now. Pros: 14 gal storage in one place. Cons: The pump nozzle became crunchy and leaked from the seams and wouldn't dispense gas. -The pump will leak a little bit of gas after you invert the nozzle and put it into storage. -The hose holder snapped. -The first bit of hose from the bottom of the canister kinks very often now. But it seems like new design has a spring assist on the hose. -Their will always be a half gallon or so of gas at the bottom of the canister and I haven't figured out how to completely empty the can without turning it upside down and shaking it like a camelback. I really wish I could find a new and improved replacement hose for the tank. The price is comparable to buying 3 5 gal containers and a wheel barrow. ... show more

  • Perfect mini gas pump
Despite all the reviews I connected mine filled it up, squeeze the handle and nothing came out. then I realized if you pump the gas using the handle to pump the gas and it comes out as you’re pumping it and that gets the siphon going and then just hold it and it gets close like crazy. There is no reason to hold this thing above what you’re fillin, the instruction say the filling device must be higher than the gas pump. ... show more
