I knew right away this was not a 30 watt panel just by the overall size of the panel. It is just physically too small to be a 30 watt panel. Considering maybe this is a more efficient unit and built from different materials I proceeded to put it to a bench test. However when tested against another 30 watt panel, as expected, the output of this panel was only half using the USB charging ports. I use these smaller 30 watt panels mainly for charging USB batteries. With a 10-foot USB extension I was getting 0.5 amps (at 5VDC) out of this 30 watt panel with full sun here in Arizona. However with a different brand of 30 watt panel (and using the same 10-foot USB extension) I am getting 1.0 amps (at 5VDC). Which is exactly double the output of this 30 watt panel. Keep in mind this test was performed at the same time and under the same conditions. So clearly this panel is only generating about half the rated capacity using the USB charge ports. Although not likely, the results may be different using the DC output to a solar generator. But for the USB connections, this unit is only putting out 0.5 amps under full sun. The panalnhas spots that look like it's been damaged by someone else who may have already used it. I attempted to use it. Intensely slow charge doe externalntravel battery pack and when I tried on my tablet it drained the tablet. Not sure why... maybe it's a dud one? Gotta return and seek another option or panel. ... show more

This is a good size panel to keep in the car. We do a lot of road trips and often bring a power station with us. We can use this to refill it if we are ever in an emergency. The panel can charge at 30w, which is decent amount. My iPhone is capped at 18w input, so 30 is plenty. There’s a USB port and a usbc port on the panels so you can charge directly. For the power station, this came with a lot of adapter sizes. Overall I’m pretty happy with how it performed. Good for travel. ... show more

The panel is solid construction. It is not a huge panel, which is nice, and it folds up easily. It doesn't charge my phone sitting in direct sun in the summer. Ive tried both ports and different cables and the best I can get in full sunlight is 12 hours until full for my phone in battery saver not being touched. I tried my laptop and had similar results. It doesn't have any way to brace itself or stand on its own, which would be nice, but I wouldn't really are that much if the product was able to charge something. ... show more
