I bought this air mattress for our Mazda CX-50 and it fits almost perfectly in the back with the seats down. We used it for a weekend camping trip and were really impressed by how easy it was to set up and how comfortable it felt. We were able to get a good night’s sleep in the car, which honestly surprised me! When you’re done, it deflates quickly and folds up easily for storage. If you have a CX-50 and are thinking about car camping or just want a backup sleeping option for road trips, this is a great buy. Highly recommend!

So quick and easy to make the back of my suv a bed. Certainly beats sleeping on the ground in a tent, I was thouroughly impressed with how easy and fast the pump inflated the bed. Air held great all night, after 2 nights we did add air, however the days were very hot so Im sure some expansion happened and thats why we needed to add air. It was not softer in the mornings when we woke up.

Sure, it came with its own handy cigarette lighter pump, which turbo filled each of its separate valve stem/chambers, lickety-split. I even tested it, fully inflated, where it fit perfectly in the back of my Prius, lay down on it, thinking to myself, wow... this could actually be what the positive reviews (Which reeled me in) say it is, IE “comfortable.” Alas, comfortable it was NOT. More like a Game if Thrones Medieval torture device. Yeap. I was taken in by the fact that the mattress has multiple chambers; one for her and one for me. But what I got, especially on my side of the mattress i.e. the larger one… was an huge poking pain in lower back. And for some reason the mattress “bowed,” causing one’s mid section to be raised higher than my head and my feat - so - Don’t even THINK about sleeping on your back. No problem; just turn and sleep on your side, right? Granted, it was Infinitely more comfortable, (on my side) that is to say - I could actually sleep (at some point) if I concentrated… for a few precious minutes. The other tandem nighmare was simply that when you moveed on this mattress - you are going to wake up your mate because of the NOISE. And possibly awaken every furry creature within a 25 yard radius of your tent, Car, dwelling, whatever. Yeah... our dogs could be heard whimpering throughout the long nights, as if asking “what fresh hell is this?” And all that equaled two full nights of deplorable, uncomfortable, worst ever, nights sleep. I SO wanted to the love this mattress. Instead, It ended up back in the box and returned, where all I could think of was crawling back into my own comfortable bed for an actual night’s sleep.

The design of this mattress is very clever. It has what might be considered modular inflatable zones. There are pros and cons to this approach. The 'pros' being you only inflate what you need, and you can dial-in the support on each side. The 'cons'... inflating six or so compartments is a bit of a hassle, and the inflation ports are at opposite ends of the mattress, so you'll be wishing the included pump has a longer cord...). Additionally, it's not very thick when inflated - maybe 4-5 inches? This is advantageous if headspace is already limited, and allowed for more rapid inflation - comfort was not negatively impacted by the thickness). All that being stated, I'm concerned the material isn't thick enough to last several uses. It's a medium-duty plastic at best. NOT Coleman or Intex grade - more like a child's inflatable pool-toy. If you're looking for a long-term solution this may not be the one for you, but in the short-term we found the pros outweighed the cons. If it lasts more than a year I'd consider buying another one in the future. If they decide to manufacture a model with superior quality material, they may well have developed the ultimate car-camper inflatable mattress.

This air mattress has been a great addition for car camping. It feels durable, and the material quality seems decent. I've used it a few times now outside of camping, and it holds air well. I did have a leak one time but I believe it was due to not closing the cap properly. The included pump works fine for inflation. Overall, it's a solid choice for a car air mattress.
