    • If you have a small car, like our Bolt, this is for you!

I spent a lot of time trying to find one of these car beds that would work in my small Bolt. None of them claim that they will work, but this one will! The great thing about it is, that the top section, a pillow, has its own separate air. So, we just didn't blow that up, and it folds underneath. Consequently, the main body of the bed fits perfectly on the back seat of the Bolt EV! A really tall person couldn't stretch out on it, but my husband, who is completely disabled at 95 is short, and this enables us to take him with us to our grandson's wedding. I also like the fact that the underlayment is not attached, and is not one piece. It's great that the two separate sections can actually store some shoes or other items inside. Although we haven't slept on it yet, it's obviously thick and seems sturdy. I tried a regular mat that was advertised as 4 inches thick, but it was no way that thick, and this one does seem to really have some substance to it. That's not an issue with my husband, who doesn't weigh a lot, but I can see even using it myself at some point. Also, at the wedding, my daughter's house will be a big family sleeping party, with mats on the floor for many of the younger generation, and I'm sure we can bring this inside and it will be welcome. (As the "elders" my husband and I get a room with a bed!) I hope that other owners of small cars like the Bolt EV will see this review and realize that this is a car bed they can use. I took a chance on it, hoping that the pillow was separate, and I'm glad I did. ... show more

I filled up the air mattress & looking forward good night sleep only to wake up in the middle of the night to a totally deflated air mattress. It must a a slow leak somewhere on the seams because it filled up fine & then it's a total dud! I'm disappointed this didn't work.

I'm using the mattress for the back seat of my Dodge Ram. It fit excellent. Slept on it two nights and didn't have to add any air. I slept great it was very comfortable. The second night one of the plugs came out at my feet, so it lost air down there but wasn't a huge deal. I think it came out because I didn't have it pushed in all the way. I'm happy with my purchase and I would recommend it! It's asking about durability, and all I can do is cross my fingers that it lasts! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It’s not durable and is VERY THIN! Not built like most air mattresses. This is nice because it doesn’t take up a lot of space in the car but it also means it’s going to tear when you fill it with air and compress that air with your body weight. It’s torn at 2 places I’ve noticed so far along the inner seams and I’ve patched those spots but then another just popped open last night to let the pressure escape… it just regularly deflates every night now so it’s worthless. I was hoping this would last at least 6 months or so. I only get into bed with basketball style shorts and a t-shirt so I know I’ve never laid on it with anything and it’s obvious it’s along the seams of the inner baffles. Otherwise the first few nights I slept like a baby and it was great! ... show more
