I've heard that a lot of people love their Sawgrass printers, so I decided to give it a try, even though I was worried about the expensive cartridges vs the large capacity tanks I'm used to. After 2 months, I was right to be worried. The ink is much more expensive than I'm used to with my old Epson. The sawgrass uses expensive cartridges, which don't last very long for the price. Fortunately, I found the Hiipoo brand cartridges are a bit cheaper than original sawgrass. My second complaint is that there was no "quick start" easy guide to get going smoothly. After enough googling, I found that I had to download the Sawgrass print manager, which is required to get the ink right based on the type of material you are pressing. It has settings for mugs, tumblers, slate, etc. This seemed to help somewhat, at least for certain designs. But the only way I found out I needed this software was by googling the print issues I was having. But my biggest complaint is the print quality. I've adjusted my print head and cleaned it multiple times. The test print pattern looks great, without any broken lines. The print head adjustment pattern looks perfect and barely needed adjustment. But when I print anything with solid colors, especially black, it prints lines through the whole picture. After trying all of the things I found online, nothing seems to resolve the issue and I am stuck with the lines. Unfortunately, this means I can only use it for lighter designs and non-solid images. I have reverted to my trusty 6 year old Epson, which keeps on going like a workhorse. No fancy print manager software, awesome quality images every time. I seriously wanted to like the Sawgrass. But at 3 times the price of the Epson, the cost of cartridges, and major print quality issues, I don't recommend buying this one. I emailed less than a month that the cord was not right if it moved to the left or right it turned off and on never got any follow up> only a note that it is non returnable
