Sturdy mold for a great price! The possibilities are endless. I highly encourage you to wait until your resin is fully cured before attempting to remove it, but once it is, it is very easy to remove from the mold. To achieve this look that I have pictured, I added a small amount of clear resin before I added my resin foil. I then added a small layer of resin with some mylar flakes and allowed it to cure most of the way, then added a color shift background to make the foil pop. Play around with the design! I only took a star away because one of the molds has some scratching on the inside so my ashtray came out with some jagged spots right on the front side. I did not contact the seller for a return or exchange because of the hassle of returning a product in general so I dont blame anything on the seller since I chose not to seek assistance. but aside from the scratched mold these are great and sturdy and the ashtrays come out really nice ... show more
