I only took a star away because one of the molds has some scratching on the inside so my ashtray came out with some jagged spots right on the front side. I did not contact the seller for a return or exchange because of the hassle of returning a product in general so I dont blame anything on the seller since I chose not to seek assistance. but aside from the scratched mold these are great and sturdy and the ashtrays come out really nice ... show more

Sturdy mold for a great price! The possibilities are endless. I highly encourage you to wait until your resin is fully cured before attempting to remove it, but once it is, it is very easy to remove from the mold. To achieve this look that I have pictured, I added a small amount of clear resin before I added my resin foil. I then added a small layer of resin with some mylar flakes and allowed it to cure most of the way, then added a color shift background to make the foil pop. Play around with the design!     • Useless and waste of product.
How much is resin? It’s a lot of money right? I created beautiful ash trays but what is the point if they get discolored from the cigarettes? Why would you offer a mold to make something that is not useable. I’d rather make a decorative bowl instead of look at a pretty ash tray. 🙄
