I bought the recommended size for a dachshund, small. Our Piper is a miniature dachshund. She is 4.11 pound at 8 weeks. I feel even at full growth she will still fit in this nicely. Your dog is meant to curl up in these, not stretch out. If you're looking to let them stretch, then I'd recommend sizing up. I had no issues with it fluffing up after opening the package. It shaped perfectly! Piper also enjoys sleeping on a plush crate bed and my duvet that I laid on the floor. All three are made of the same fluffy soft material. I gave it a 4 star as I have not washed it and she hasn't really chewed on it so I don't know how it will hold up.

Let me give two reviews🙂 My Honey-buns loves this bed! It’s so soft!! She sleeps so good! It’s easy to clean. Best bed ever! My review! I hate it!! I had! Notice Had! The most wonderful loving dog! My baby in the world! She never left my side. I purchased this bed and that changed! My snuggle bug, now jumps up on my bed sits there a few minutes and goes straight to her new bed!! 😂😂😂 The icing on the cake! She can hear a leaf drop off the tree and is up barking! Well hello! Not since she has her new bed! My car was stolen!! Ms. I’m too busy sleeping to bark!! Was knocked out!!
