  • This look is awesome
Pattern Name: TV Stand
I had gotten a dresser, nightstand and headboard in this salt oak style and liked it so much I wanted to extend the look into my living room. My TV is the exact width, so this stand is PERFECT. All the shelves are adjustable, so there's plenty of room for game consoles, DVR, PC, etc. I have a subwoofer and an ACER PC (the acer is 16.5in tall) and both fit perfect in the middle. The doors are both real, no facades. Instructions, like everything else Sauder (from my experience) is well detailed, easy to follow and took about 1.5 - 2hr to assemble -however that includes my OCD need to inventory check every single detail before I begin and sort all the parts, count them etc. This 15 minutes makes all the difference in assembling this kind of furniture. It IS heavy, so you want the final assembly steps really close to where it's going to go, especially if you're working alone as I was. If you have 2 people on it, moving it is way easier as is maneuvering it without risking damage. This was no big deal, however. I love this look, just remember to take off the stickers, there's some that I missed so every time I look at it or show it to a guest I find another one I forgot to remove! Yes, it IS particle board, however it is very well made, and dense. The only struggle I had with this one is a couple of the horizontal brace/board/skirting requires being slid into place vs the usual screwing or nailing and that was the only place I had issues with it being particle board (splinters, difficulty because of length and working solo) so I ended up clamping it to my work table for leverage, got work gloves, and it was fine. ... show more

  • Well worth the price, packaging was impressive, and happy with finished product!
Pattern Name: TV Stand
I am a 63 year old woman who put this together by myself, and found it very straightforward to do. It required a lot of small parts, but Sauder did an excellent job of packaging them into a plastic sheet with well labeled "packets" in it, which made it easy to find the specific part needed per the instructions. It took me about 2 hours to put together, but I did take my time to make sure I didn't miss any steps - a single instruction page could have multiple things to do in sequence. The QR code that takes you to a YouTube video is also helpful to see the assembly before undertaking it yourself. It feels solid now that it's all together. The other reviewers that claimed the legs fell off must not have tightened the hidden cams. I've purchased Sauder furniture in the past, and have always had good luck with it. I had one desk for 20 years that moved multiple times and still looked great. For the price I paid for this, I am very happy and can recommend. ... show more

  • Works perfectly for my 49” flatscreen
Pattern Name: TV Stand
I put this together myself with a basic tool set and a hammer.. I can’t say it was quick or easy, but the instructions were extremely comprehensive and really the only thing you need with this (if you choose to do it on your own) is time. Towards the end it got difficult for me to keep laying it down on the floor to tack on the back panel and then flip to add the doors + hinges just due to its weight, if you can get another person to help I would suggest so but it is COMPLETELY doable to do on your own - even for a girl! I live in NYC where living room space is very limited so this ended up being the perfect size for my wall. All in all I really love this piece, it ties in so nicely with my floors couch and walls and I’d highly recommend purchasing it if your looking for something that’s of great quality. And also not from ikea! For the record - my flatscreen is 49” and it’s only recommended for 47”, I read some of the questions above and another person is using there’s for a 50” screen so I took a chance - it totally works if your screen happens to be within a few inches of the max length. ... show more

  • B+++
Pattern Name: TV Stand
This was smaller than expected but will do the job. I have a 42” TV. As you can see there are just a few inches to the left and right of the TV. I don’t think a bigger TV will fit well on this particular stand. Physical: It looks a bit cheap but nice cheap if that makes any sense. This is my “I need to buy something to hold my TV while I save for something nicer” purchase. I bought this particular stand because I not only needed something to hold my TV but also store some of my books and some boxes of photos and albums. After reading the booklet, it says the shelves can not hold anything more than 15lbs (top shelf) and 20lbs (bottom shelf). So I can’t put a lot of stuff on the shelves- books are heavy! Just something I thought I should mention. Assembly: Well let’s just say I owe my brother big time. Yikes, not only was this box super heavy to carry but it was a pain to put together. Assembly took about 3 hours. Read the directions carefully and don’t rush through the assembly. Not all the pieces were labeled so he had to match with the photos in the directions. He needed help at one point when he had to screw in some nails and I had to hold one side for him. So you will need a second person at some point. Overall Thoughts: I don’t regret my purchase. If you are looking for something that won’t be considered your forever furniture, this is it! I think it will last a few years if I don’t put a lot on it- so I may just use it to hold up my TV and maybe a few books underneath. Overall, it’s worth the price I paid for and it’s good for what I need right now. I just hope it lasts. I will try to update in a year or so. UPDATE (August 2022) Well it’s been four years and this stand has help up so nicely! It looks brand new still and it’s definitely grown on me. I’d update to an A- :) ... show more

  • Very high quality and precision
Pattern Name: TV Stand
All the screws and hardware were very good. It’s a high quality product for the money. Very sturdy and well made. Alignment of the pre-drilled holes for assembly was clearly done by an automated and precise laser. Very happy with the results.
