The instructions are easy to follow (good diagrams and easy to understand text) just take your time and read the entire page before starting a step. If you need it, there's a website with videos. Yes, it takes a little time, but if you follow the instructions, everything is clear and well-explained, and the materials are constructed carefully. Man this thing has some serious weight! Build was easy, instructions are clear-ish, and looks great 👍🏽. Remember the the black covered dowels are supposed to stick out. Quick tip: For the back board support screw in one side, stand it up, align the other holes by pushing the dresser to either side slightly, screw in the last 2. Now lay back down and nail it down. My first dresser I did not do this and had to reapply the back board. Wasn't pretty. The handle hardware are ugly to me. They have notches on them which I guess are supposed to go into an alignment hole or pull into the drawers to ...I don't know . I used a bubble level to make sure they weren't lopsided. But they are ugly. And that's it. Haven't had issues with the bottom yet as others have mentioned. ... show more

    • Deep drawers but flimsy drawer bottoms

Pros: This item was packaged really well and felt heavy duty. I like the overall look and deep drawers. The directions were fairly easy to follow and it was easy to put together. I think shipping was free. Cons: The dresser has an odor that I don’t care for. I’m hoping the odor dissipates over time. The drawer bottoms are flimsy material like cardboard and won’t hold much weight - not even fake wood. The back of the drawers is also a flimsy material that you slide into a groove - not even fake wood. The drawers don’t fully open. I think if the rails were longer, that issue could’ve been avoided. There is a few inches of wasted space behind the drawers. I think this could’ve been avoided if the drawers were larger. The backing on the dresser is cardboard that you nail and screw on - again not even fake wood. There was a formaldehyde warning in the instructions. There was also a lot of styrofoam in the packing materials and it’s difficult to get rid of where I live. There is room for improvement in many areas of this dresser. I kept the dresser because it is so heavy (114 lbs or so in package) and I had already assembled it. I do not recommend this item. ... show more
