I've bought several pairs of these running shoes, initially for trail running because they fit so well. I have somewhat wide feet and it seems that running shoe boxes keep getting narrower. These are comfortable right out of the box, which is a huge plus. Nice aggressive tread for rough terrain. The area above the big toe does not have any leather covering it, so I can see that it's going to come through the mesh, creating a hole on top. There is leather around the front, but not enough to prevent wear out by toes rubbing. I walk every day, at least 4 to 6 miles on all types of surfaces, so I wear my shoes out. I can tell these will not last long, just from how my big toe is already making an indent. It's a shame, because they are comfortable! Fix the toe guard please! ... show more

I've been buying this exact item for a few years now, and Saucony for about 11 years. If you wear these shoes for 3 months straight, every day, walking or running a lot, you will need to replace them. They last a lot longer with light use, keeping their shape. I wore the pair I'm replacing for 12 months and with light use am just now replacing them. They are lightweight and hold my foot, which keeps my knees from hurting. I want another pair-I love these so much. Very comfortable for hiking in the dry woods-my foot feels secure and I get great traction without the super high cost of a hiking boot. Speed and agility are important to me while climbing hills and these breathe and stretch as needed. I am a size 6 and they are true to size. Didn't last, my last pair of Eddie Bauers lasted 5 years, these barely made 6 months without getting a hole on the top. I only use them to walk the dog. They were comfortable though.

Go up a half size. I normally wear a 10. I got a 10.5. like recommend. Very comfortable. I stand 8 hours and my feet feel great. I love the color and style. Good traction on slick floors. If you walk in puddles your feet stay dry. Value for the money. I would definitely buy these again.

I’m a nurse in the hospital. I bought these because they were reasonably priced as I was wearing out the more expensive brands (brooks, one cloud, hoka, etc. had them for 6 months and they are still holding up. My legs and feet are doing just fine.
