These Nike Revolution 8s are my new go-to shoes for casual runs, gym sessions, and even long walks around Hong Kong. Right out of the box, they felt cushioned and supportive without any break-in period—the foam midsole is soft yet responsive, and the breathable mesh upper kept my feet cool even on humid days. The fit is true to size (I went with my usual Nike size), with a snug but not tight feel around the midfoot and plenty of room in the toe box. They’re surprisingly lightweight for the price, provide decent arch support, and the rubber outsole grips well on pavement and treadmill without wearing down quickly. I’ve put about 80-100 km on them so far with no hot spots, blisters, or knee issues—perfect for beginners or anyone wanting reliable everyday trainers without spending a fortune. Husband says five stars. And when I pressed for detail, he shrugged. So translation: he’s tried so many brands of sneakers. Nike is the ONLY one he’ll wear for running and usually the only brand he’ll wear, period! Good support under the arch, without being too high. Sturdy through heel to toe, yet still flexible enough to rotate through the step smoothly. They don’t rub. No blisters. Great color patterns to choose from but who are we kidding, dude only wears dark blue and black or dark grey. Good rainbow goggles JeeZus, could someone make him appreciate some other primary colors?!

I'm new to running and was eager to get a shoe that would handle sustained distance running while being thoroughly comfortable on my feed. I have wide feet as well, and the wide version of this shoe is a perfect fit. After running with these for a few weeks, I tried on a lesser pair of run shoes for comparison and the support of the Revolution 8 became every more apparent. For the price, this is a great entry running shoe and one I'll use all year.

After putting these Nikes through their paces for both walking and running, they have proven to be a standout investment for anyone prioritizing functionality and value. Key Highlights: Fit & Stability: The toe box width is excellent. They don't cramp the sides of the foot, allowing for a natural toe splay during impact while maintaining a secure "lockdown" feel that provides confidence in every stride. Heel Ergonomics: A common fail point in running shoes is irritation at the Achilles or heel. These, however, are impeccably designed; I've experienced zero discomfort, pressure points, or blisters, even during longer sessions. Versatility: They transition seamlessly from urban walking to mid-intensity runs. The gait cycle feels fluid, and the outsole provides the necessary grip to feel connected to the ground.

They appeared to be great. The only reason I returned them was not for a damage but when I lifted the tongue to both make room for my foot and tie my laces the cloth where the tongue is seemed like it was see through and I didn't want to take the chance of a rip. Otherwise a very comfortable and sleek sneaker.
