I love this servo. It is very smooth and torquey. I used it on my rc ornithopter. It needed a new rudder servo, however I just decided to get a second 5065mg for the elevator control because of how god damn good these servos are. The gears have no noticeable slop which is very important for us pilots. The ornithopter I have is basically a copy of the Sean Kinkade slowhawk. If anyone is curious, it's called the Carbonsail ornithopter; sold and made by a guy in Singapore. Website is called Ornihobby.com. ... show more

Replaced a pair of old Hitec servos that was loosing there centering. New servos works great and was a drop in replacement. The servo wire length is shorter than my old Hitec was and just barely worked in my aileron application.

Servo would never center when using transmitter rudder controls. it's defective, will be sending back. I use Hitec servos on all of my aircraft but this only happened for the first time. Thay are a great servo if they were not that great, I wouldn't be installing them on 4,000 dollar large RC 106 inch wing span aircraft. ... show more
