The upper and base of the the shoe seem really durable. If I replace the insoles often enough to protect the shoe from disfiguration it should last years. The heel isn’t as thick as many other shoes. I’ve had saucony running shoes for a few years now. Only recently thought about getting them for work... I work retail and at a desk. I can wear these all day (12hrs), up and down stairs, stocking shelves, and computing at my desk with no issues. Hopefully they last as long as the running shoes do.
