Performance: 3.5/5 * I received a 1.01 fl oz bottle instead of 4.22 fl oz as stated in the description. * Minimize pores: I haven’t seen any difference in my pore appearance. Note that your pore size cannot be changed; topical products can only reduce the look of your pores. * Control acne, oil, and sebum production: my current skincare routine already has products with activities that control acne, oil, and sebum production. Hence, I can’t attest to this claim. * Soothing: I didn’t see any soothing effect. * Hydrating: This toner gives me some hydration. However, I wouldn’t rely on this for hydration if you have dry skin. I have dry skin and have a pretty extensive skin care routine. This toner acts as an exfoliating booster to help remove dead skin cells. * Scent: This toner has a hint of citrus that goes away quickly. * Formula: 4/5 * Texture: I would say this serum has about 2-3% viscosity; lightweight, not sticky, spreads easily * Absorption: absorbs quickly * Dispensing mechanism/Packaging: 4.3/5 * Dispensing mechanism: 4/5 * Dropper - you will need to shake to get the product out. * Packaging: 4.5/5 * Product: frosted pink ombré glass - gives a modern vibe. * The serum bottle came in a very pretty printed paper box. * Ingredients: 4/5 * Glycolic acid (10%): helps exfoliate the skin - encourage better cell turnover and reduced sebum production: * Sometimes I experienced some tingling upon initial application. The tingling went away quickly. * 10% of glycolic acid is pretty strong. I recommend starting with 2 times/wk first, then increase to 3 times/wk, up to 5 times/wk. Just listen to your skin. I love all of the Saturday Skin brand items that I've used in the past and this is another great product. Saturday Skin is a popular Korean skincare brand that is sold in stores like Sephora. This toner is gentle and doesn't sting, perfect for after washing your face. I haven't experienced any irritation or redness from the product. I follow the toner with a moisturizer. I do wish the bottle is a bit larger.
