My wife hasn't been able to ride her bike for a long time due to pain in her wrists and thumb. I started out looking for the On-One Mary but quickly found out it's been discontinued. Started looking at options from Soma, Salsa and others but wasn't sure about spending the money for those to find out this shape didn't help. Found this bar on Amazon for much less than the others and gave it a shot. Install was no problem but it took a little work to get the brake and shifter cables in a happy place. The bar is wider but not so much that I had to swap out cables. Wife was instantly happy with the new bar geometry (swapped out from a lo-rise mountain bike style bar). She says she has no pain in her wrists and is looking forward to getting back out and riding again. I haven't yet convinced her that moustache bars look cool but I'm sure it'll come once she gets a compliment from someone. Highly recommend this bar if you need a more comfortable hand position or looking to relieve wrist pain.

Satori NOIRETTE Plus Bicycle Handlebar 31.8x660mm My hybrid bicycle came with a riser type handlebar which is basically still "straight or flat across." To me this means that regardless of where I place my hands on the handlebar, I remain at the same "body distance to handlebar" so my body position remains the same. I purchased this handlebar because it gives me different ranges/feels and allows me to change (stretch) my body position as I change my hand location on the handlebar. At the ends or edges of the bar, it allows me to sit more upright and relaxed. As I move my hands closer together towards the center of the handlebar or stem, I get to stretch and lean forward more. And when I go on long stretches of road that are mostly straight I can get aerodynamic by placing my hands near the stem. It does depend on "proper bike fit," top tube length, seat tube angle, saddle, etc. of each bicycle (and each rider) as to how much "movement and stretch" each person will make, or be able to get, as the hands move across the bars, provided one does not put too many things along the handlebars to prevent varying of the grip positions etc. But for me it is great to have this (flexibility)! I would consider/classify these bars a terrific bargain for hybrid/commuter bicycle riders. They are relatively light and provide some hand/body position variety. Especially for long(er) rides where flat and/or riser handlebars will basically always keep your body in the "same position." Meaning, these handlebars allow varying body positions which, for me, will help keep the body from getting "stiff," "bored," "stagnant," or "locked up" the same way when riding (long(er) distances). I wanted a cruiser style handle bar for my fat tire ebike. It is hard to tell looking at the pictures, so I read the description. When it arrived I replaced the old straight handle bar and changed everything over to the new bar. It wasn’t what I expected, but I must say that I really like they way it feels to ride. It is a more natural feel to my hands and wrists and more comfortable. I’m glad I bought this handle bar

These bars are just the ticket for my commuter bike. They put me in a more upright posture that allows me to more easily scan for traffic while riding on city bike lanes or multi-use trails. Also, the angle of the grip portion of the bars facilitates a more natural alignment of one's wrists on the grips. In both of these respects, the Satori Noirette Plus bars are superior to the flat bars that came with my bike. They are well made and strike me as a bargain.

I installed the Noirette Plus on my Roam adventure bike. It provides a massive amount of sweep - almost felt like I was riding a cruiser. Pluses: Multiple hand positions allow you to switch between upright riding (hands fully out) and a more aggressive position (hands near the stem). Very natural positions, comfortable for the wrists. Cons: The sweep was too much for me. I felt like I had less control than with the riser bar that came on the bike. These bars are great for commuting, casual rides, or easy trails. I wouldn't recommend them for single track or for high speed riding.

My ebike (Dost) came with a fairly straight mountain style handlebar. I changed it out for the Satori NOIRETTE, which allowed me to sit back and upright a bit more. That small adjustment made my riding much more comfortable.

I used these on my latest fully-rigid 29er build, and they are great. I thought the sweep might be a little much, but after riding 5 miles or so, I am sold. Great quality and finish.
