I needed an easy wireless system for my mirrorless camera & that I could use with my Macbook Pro for meetings. I was looking for something that would work right out of the box & didn't need a lot of set up. My coworker has the original Blink 500 B1, so I checked it out. The new B2 is much better than the original, but just as easy to use. When I pulled it out of the box, it already had a full charge, so I used it right away for a work meeting. When I was done, I put the transmitter and receiver back in the case & it started charging (!!!). I really had no idea that this was a charging case & it had an internal battery in it. That was a cool surprise. The next day & w/ a full charge, I took the camera out and clipped a transmitter to each of my girls (4 & 2) as I filmed them playing outside. They didn't seem to notice or mind wearing the transmitter & the receiver didn't weigh down my camera at all. They ran all over the place, but no matter how far away they were I could still hear them perfectly. I checked the video & it sounded great, so we sent it to Grandma. This was the first time I could film my kids going every which way & not have any audio problems. I'm super impressed w/ this system. This product might work great if it worked! I was only able to charge one of the transmitters, the other transmitter and the receiver would not charge, as if it was shipped without batteries. The vendor did not reply when I tried to resolve the problem and I had to settle for a refund from Amazon.

Transmitters and receiver are tiny and lightweight, smaller than the Sennheiser and even the Lectrosonics. They come in a sturdy case that also charges them and syncs them. I need something fast and easy to setup, and I was up an running in no time with these. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to turn them on! (It turns out the "mute" button doubles as the on/off switch when pressed for 3 seconds.) Other than that I was good to go in seconds. I used the receiver on a portable audio recorder and the quality was terrific. My subjects were about 10 feet away, and the sound was clean with zero interference.
