It shrank to where I am comfortable with it, then I bought a medium and after I washed that one it was the exact same size as the small. Not a problem for me, but odd nonethelless. I wanted one a little baggier so I may try a third one in a large. I have no issues with these sweaters, they are a bargain and the quality seems just fine. This is a great sweater with one flaw. I love the purple color and the fit. At 5' 2" & 117lbs the fit is loose but not too loose. The worse thing about the sweater is the material. It's somewhat scratchy. The yarn is rough. I've washed it on cold and laid it flat to dry hoping to soften it but not a lot of success. I haven’t worn this yet because it arrived with three big creases that I can’t get out. I’ve washed it once which should have fixed this, but it didn’t. I’m going to try again but I’m not hopeful because it is a knitted/crochet material and it appears permanently separated along the crease. A change in packaging would be beneficial. Super cute!! In fact I bought them in 4 different colors!! I usually wear a small/medium and bought a small. It fits perfectly AFTER I washed and dried them. They turned very soft and thick. It’s a must buy!!

PROS: Cute. Right length. Versatile. Can be dressed up or down. CONS: Everything else. The item came with poor craftsmanship, having different areas fraying. It does snags everywhere.
