I did wear a long sleeve tighter shirt underneath for layering and warmth. However I tried it on without and it was soft. Not itchy at all because that is always a deal breaker. It kept me warm under my coat for outside and kept me comfortable indoors for dinner. I wore it twice and washed it once. I air dried it since I always do that with sweaters. It looks brand new after washing. Although it is intended to be oversized, it did not feel bulky. The shape is straight with a slight hug near the hips. Beautifully soft sweater. I purchased the blue one. It is incredibly soft. For reference, I am 295lbs m, 5' 8 1/2" and purchased the XL. The sweater is not clingy but lays really nice. The sleeve length covers half my hand and is loose but not super loose. Such a lovely sweater and fit, that I purchased the light blue and pink. Colors are as pictured. Perfect for cold days and warm days. Sweater is not heavy. Best part, the length is long so it coveres my tummy area even when I raise my arms. I may buy another color. The fit is relaxed without looking sloppy, and the fabric feels soft against the skin. The color and style are exactly what I pictured, and it pairs easily with jeans or leggings. It’s warm without being too heavy, making it great for everyday wear or layering with a collar. It is advertised to show the seams however if you don’t like the look it is a regular sweater the other way around, you just need to use a seam cutter to take the tag off. Versatile. Overall, a stylish and comfy sweater that I reach for all season! I am giving one less star because the fabric does stretch easily so the way it looks upon putting it on just realize it will be looser by the end of the day. I do not mind that but someone might. This was supposed to be beige ... it's actually a light apricot. I really needed beige for the outfit I am putting together so I'll have to keep looking. That said, it is very soft and it hangs great. I don't like that it is inside-out -- as in, all the seams are out and it looks cheap. I turned it inside-out and it looks so much better -- except the tag. I will have to get my sewing kit out and take it off. I only gave it 4 stars because of the color and inside-out thing, but it is pretty cute and definitely comfortable. It even seems to be a pretty good quality. Update: By the end of the first day that I wore it, it had pilled A LOT. I wore it again before I washed it and it pilled (you know those fuzzy bumps sweaters get) even more. Love the sweater, nice tunic style for leggings. I was very impressed with the cut and weight. It wasn’t overly bulky nor to thin. Laid very nice with leggings and jeans. Liked it so well bought one for my daughter (32 yo) and she loved it so much she wore it out that same evening. I like true oversized sweaters I ordered XL , 5’8” 206lbs long torso, daughter 5’6” 230 likes oversized but a little more fitting so I ordered her a Large, in most sweatshirts she wears XL but the Large fit her perfectly to wear with leggings Color was Olive Green . I would definitely recommend and will be ordering in different colors! Oh and I’m not a sweater person, I usually don’t like the feel of the material or I become too hot.
