  • Built Solid
These are well made and heavy stands. The bolts are very thick so they will not fit LG rear speakers. The mounting brackets are thick but even those do not align with LG rear speaker factory brackets. I had to go to the hardware store and get parts to make these stands usable for LG S95TR rear speakers. They are thick metal and stable when positioned correctly. I skill keep them but I did get approximately another ten dollars in parts to make them work. ... show more

  • Surrounded by sound
The stands arrived well packaged. I have two old/heavy Infinity surround speakers. Ran the wires through the tubes, a little bit of a challenge with the upper tube as the diameter was smaller. The second tube went easier as I had a better understanding on how to run the wire. The stands look good and more than capable of holding the heavy speakers. ... show more

  • Tube is small - 5/8" wide connector too large to fit
Product looks good, but I could not use it. The connectors on my speaker cord are 5/8" wide, and the tube would not accept a cord with that large a connector. This was a "Frequently bought with" purchase with the LG S80TR soundbar I purchased, but the two items are not compatible. By the way, the first assembly task is to unstick 24 small double stick pads from a paper and stick each one onto a small circular spot around the rim of the bases....I found the task difficult...sometimes the sticky tape did not come off with the pad, and I had to fumble around to get it off... ... show more

  • Smart stands
Buying these stands was the smartest thing I did as far as the soundbar goes. I love my soundbar and these stands allow me to put the speakers at the head of my bed. But think about it, you need something like this. Where else are you going to put the speakers?

  • Perfect
Very nice design, easy to assemble and very sturdy. Multiple mounting options worked well for me for different types of speakers. Bought these for my home theatre set up as well as my gaming PC (both 5.1 surround set ups).

  • Sanus nailed it with their speaker stands.
Sanus nailed it with their satellite & bookshelf speaker stands. They are well-built, thoughtfully designed, height and swivel-adjustable without tools, and the finish is beautiful. I especially like the heavy, 3.5-pound oval-shaped base plates that secure the speaker stands with zero movement. Lastly, I appreciate the clearly labeled and well-organized directions and well-packaged parts. I would repurchase these speaker stands and recommend them to family and friends without reservation. ... show more

  • The plastic pieces shud be stronger
Soo my gripe with this is, when screwing into one of metal bases, it started to strip on me so I had to angle a bit so the threads cud be caught. Then the plastic piece that hold the two rods in place well one them broke soon as I place it in position. So I just took one of my hairbands and rig the piece in place and just propped it against the wall... Don't feel like returning it back, but wud be nice if I can get a replacement piece for it... ... show more

  • Attractive, solid and functional, but take caution in the assembly process!
First, let me say that the speaker stands were exactly the design and configuration I was needing for my rear satellite speakers of my Samsumg surround sound - sound bar system. They are sturdy, well constructed, and the bases are solid and heavy without being obstrusive. I particularly liked the built in cord managment feature allowing the speaker wire to be threaded through the hollow support posts making for a sleek and professional appearence while providing a method of easy and versitile height adjustment. Now for the only down side illiciting four stars. For the most part the assembly is fairly straight forward except for a few small but potentially maddenly complications. First the screws and various parts are a bit confusing trying to address different speaker configuations, and there are only the minimun number of items, no spares. My speakers required the Key-hole mount configuration, but the heads of the only screws provided for this were too large to fit the key hole, leaving me to go on safari in my tool drawers for a suitable replacement screw and bolt (more size options should be offered). This was a minor inconvienence, but the next issue was serious enough to require a return and replacement via Amazon. At the top of the support posts is a threaded hole for attachment of a speaker base. One of my posts threaded holes was stripped out or incorrectly drilled and would not fit any of the screws provided making the assembly useless after a hour of work, thus prompting the return and replacement which Amazon handled superbly. In addition, a caution in the assembly of the support post system. The posts to provide height adjustment rely on a shaft inside of a shaft sliding system that is then secured with a conical plastic sleeve piece that slides down and tightens with a twisting motion. The tolerances are very small to provide a secure fit (in structural engineering this is called a Morris taper) If by accident (which is very easy to do) during assembly, this sleeve gets pushed upward on the superior post to the curve, the sleeve will absolutly lock in place unable to be budged, once again rendindering the assembly useless, requiring the aforementioned replacement. On the second go around with the replacement assembly I attached a zip tie superiorly on each shaft as a precausion and the assembly was completed without any issues. The end result and a reward for my troubles, is a great looking and functional pair of attractive speaker stands. Just check all parts and fits before diving in to the final assembly process; you could save yourself wasted time and headache inducing frustrations. ... show more
