Would have liked a slighty larger base plate the speaker sits on. Too extend past six inch speakers sitting on it. I put heavy active speakers on them, solid, stable. Kit comes with bottom pieces to accommodate hardwood or carpet surfaces. Nice consideration..

Sleek, painted black, all solid wood except for the plastic wire covers (which I think are a bit cheap in appearance, but not an issue for me since they are both with their backs against the wall and not viewable). They can certainly hold some heavier speakers, up to 25 lbs. They offer much more support than I need for my small Klipsch Surround 3 pair. It’s also convenient to have the option of carpet spikes on the feet, or the plastic feet for hard floors. I have the carpet spikes beneath the towers and rubber feet under the speakers, and there is no extraneous vibration at all, even when testing at full blast. The instructions were also surprisingly humorous, even a bit cynical, which added some chuckles to the quick assembly process. Did I say do not over tighten?

These stands hold my bookshelf-sized speakers nicely.

Easy assembly but a lot of design flaws. Finish isn't very durable. Matte Finish scratches easily over the softer MDF material. Cable management is a series of plastic cards that fit into dado grooves. If you have a nice heavier speaker cable, it won't hold it. Not worth the price in my opinion.
