    • Great but with some cons
(Used the stand for Klipsch bookshelf speakers) Great speaker stand for those who need bookshelves speakers to resemble floor standing speakers. However the item does come with couple cons. #1: the installation is not a quick process as the screw holes are very small to the point the wood breaks if it’s off by a centimeter. I had to exchange the item because all the pieces ended up cracking. #2: the wires show as the middle has a open gap which I don’t get, it doesnt look neat. However other than that it’s good so far. It’s not the most sturdiest stand as it does shake but for the price you can’t go wrong. ... show more

    • Takes Two Sets to Make One Good One
Pros: Shipped quickly and easy to assemble using the comical instructions provided. The look nice. Cons: Like many others experienced, the wood split on the pillars. I was so careful and hand screwed them in as instructed but I could tell before I had the screw halfway in something was wrong. When I looked at the side of the pillar it was split. I called their help line and the service rep said just to return it back to Amazon (even though Amazon says to call them). Nevertheless I filed a return to get another set (keeping the one good stand I was able to build). When that arrived the pillars were even worse. I could tell that some of the pilot holes they drilled were crooked, thus causing the wood to split. I went through two more pillars before I got one that was good. Neutral: While these do appear to be sturdy I'm leery about my Klipsch bookshelf speakers sitting on top of the small plate at the top. There is a small hole on this plate so I may put a small screw just to keep the speaker from getting bumped off. ... show more

I read the reviews before buying these but I usually take them with a grain of salt. Low and behold these stands look nice but they are absolute trash. They must have used the cheapest possible MDF wood available. I used a hand screwdriver to assemble these. They split all over! I'm a carpenter by trade and am very aware these screws aren't holding a house together so I tightened them until just snug. After they were all put together I stepped back to look and saw the splits all over. I'm returning these and will just get better quality ones elsewhere. Bought these to hold my klipsch r-15pm bookshelf speakers. Just a reminder, these are BOOKSHELF speaker holders. They won't work for super large speakers. Easy to assemble, just follow the instructions and don't over-tighten the screws-it will crack the wood. The speaker pads you install on the top keep the speakers from sliding-they are sturdy and don't require additional securing. I'm not sure what other people are talking about when they say it's not sturdy...the speakers don't move at all. My ONLY gripe is what I'd call a design flaw. As others have said, the two main boards don't completely touch each other, therefore, there is a small gap. This gap is not only noticeable when viewing head-on, but it allows for the wires to pop out the front when you feed the wires in the back to hide them. After a little finagling, I got the wires to stay put and not pop out the front, but I'm not sure why it was designed that way. Anyway, great speaker stands for the klipsch r-15pm. ... show more
