These shorts are comfortable and work perfectly for going to the gym. I'm a modest older woman, and these are long enough and loose enough in the hips and thighs that I feel comfortable going in the grocery store on my way home from a workout. If you are looking for compression, these shorts are not what you want, but the soft fabric makes them easy to get on and off. I'm not sure if I'll ever figure out why there's a zippered pocket in the back waistband, but the front pockets are nice. Overall, these fit my needs nicely and I have ordered a second pair. I definitely recommend sizing up one size, as many other reviewers have suggested, unless you are looking for a snug fit. ... show more

These shorts are really comfortable and fit nicely. I'm taking a star off for the pockets. They're outside pockets that have black stitching on the shorts. This type of pocket looks cheap and tacky. The pocket should be inside and go in through a seam.

I love everything about these shorts, the fabric, the color, the length, the comfy fit and the hidden zip pocket on the back of the waist band. They come up far enough and also support your stomach. I can't say enough about them and I will be ordering more colors.
