The SBS Fiberglass Longboard Single Fin - Butterfly Model is an absolute beast. It fills my fin box from end to end, providing excellent tracking compared to my stock fin, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Probably obvious, but this would not work for shallow water or lots of plant life (although it may cut some weeds that other fins would catch) - there are lots of SUP rides I wouldn't choose this particular fin for, but I love it in deep water. The material is quite sharp, so if you’re looking for something softer, this might not be the fin for you. However, it does come with a very nice padded sleeve that you can use when mounting and to protect the fin when not in use. The fin screw can be a bit tricky to deal with since there’s no slack in the fin box, but I didn’t have any real issues finding the nut. Overall, I’m really pleased with this fin's performance and quality.

Great quality fin at a great price

Great fin. Solid fiberglass construction, responsive. Very happy with purchase. Transformed longboard from a smaller center with sidebites to this single and it changed the board riding characteristics to be more snappy for those smaller days. Highly recommended!

Great fun but the screw came off

Great fin, I’m still a beginner so I can’t tell much about the performance. I’d give it 5 stars except for the caveat below. Install was surprisingly smooth. Some here have commented that it may require some sanding. Although pretty snug, it fit in the finbox well. The screw that holds the fin down with the nut is handy as it requires no tool but I think it also may be its downfall as it seems to loosen easily. Took it out on its first rip and tightened the screw beforehand. After coming out, I noticed the screw came off. Because it was a snug fit, the fin stayed in the box. I went to Lowe’s to get a replacement screw and to save you all the future trouble, see attached for the size of the replacement. Great value fin Stay stokd

Didn’t fit Skatinger Board

I liked the design of this fin but when I got it, it didn’t fit my paddle board. The screw is on the wrong side to fit into my Skatinger board and there is no way to make it fit.

Great fin!

My original fin on a Degree33 Ultimate 9ft long board snapped and i bought this as a replacement with the same size. Even though it seemed to have less width I feel a huge difference in stability and turning. Love the fin and that it has the no tool screw too. Now wondering how the 9inch fin would do....
