When they say this duvet makes you feel like you're staying in a fancy hotel, they mean it. It is so fluffy, it's like being covered with a cloud. It retains its fluffiness as far as I can tell (I've only had it for about 6 weeks), and it's warm without being suffocatingly hot. Our cats even recognize how awesome this thing is; we find them asleep on it day and night (which is new for them; they never used to sleep on our bed so consistently). I got it for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. She can fold it over and stay really warm or use it single layer and be comfortable. She got an extra large size for the size of her bed so she could do that. It seemed a little expensive but hey it made her happy. The quality seems good. The color maintains, it doesn't get yellow and the weight is perfect for her. Her. We live in Denver so there are cold, cold cold nights that she gets to double up with. Unfortunately the king sized duvet insert did not fit our standard king bed. I checked the label and it was the correct size shipped, however looked like a queen size when placed on my bed. It definitely would not have fit in a king duvet cover. Since I removed the item from the package to ensure it fit my bed, it was quite hard to return to the box since it had been vacuum packed just to get into the package. Because of this I had to also pay $8.99 for a box for the return. DO NOT recommend this product. ... show more
