First of all it's much bigger than I thought it would be. I've had 24" televisions that I've used as monitors and I thought of getting a 24" TV again, but I don't watch TV and I didn't need anything as big as a 32" screen due to space restrictions. I got this primarily to use with my laptop and pen display for my cartooning. I plugged my Nintendo Switch into the USB-C port and it connected flawlessly. I also connected my Amazon Firestick into the HDMI port and it also connected flawlessly. I connected my laptop via the USB-C port and bada-bing, bada-bing, great picture. I reconnected again via the HDMI port with the pen display attached to the laptop and I'm stoked. This is what I needed! No more eyestrain. Now I'm going to need a small table to setup a work area for my digital drawing but until then I'll have some fun playing games with my Nintendo Switch.

I am amending my review. Since I was happy with the monitor before it failed, as I thought it worked great for the price. It became a paperweight after 3mos time. I found the issue though was the plug. Which is why it was not ideal, but once fixed has been working great again and no issues as yet. What is even more important was the response from Sansui. They offered me to replace the monitor...without any questions, and reach out to me via email. However I did not reply immediately and got one of my old plugs from somewhere and tried it out and it is working great. So great customer support and I assume a one off issue, unless others have noted the same where it stops working. For now, I would consider them again - assuming it continues as is. == Original Review === I'm actually kidding about fade to black. It simply stopped turning on just after 3 mos. No power whatsoever. I went through a whole routine, thinking it was an issue with the cord, or the HDMI table or the laptop, which slot I plugged into, and for the first couple of days when it would not start, some of those had some results and it would power up. Well, by end of the week, it simply no longer powered up at all. I agree with others that it is cheaply made, but a good price and worked well for the first 3 mos. The screen quality was easily adjusted and outside of its a usually lightweight paperweight now, I have no other complaints. Ideally they should offer some support after 3 mos for how to fix this, since I would at very least expect it to last for 6mos before this level of failure, and ideally a year or 3. I tend to think it takes just as much effort and quality control to make these solutions last longer than it does to plan this type of fast failure after just 3 mos. AMENDING REVIEW - The issue seems to be with the power cord - and with more fiddling I was able to get it started up again - but will definitely not purchase again

Bought this as a gift for my brother, Pricing is very good for this 1080p 180hz monitor. The colors look fantastic he said and is enjoying it very much! Very easy to step, no screws or anything, Comes with an hdmi cord as well which was pretty cool. I'd buy again if needed.

I mainly use this monitor to view movies or sporting events while I'm using my 27" 4k monitor. I like the colors which seem nominal and the brightness is a plus. I could see it as a good budget 1080p gaming monitor. This was a great buy under $90 when I found it. The setup was easy and the menu was easy to navigate. The only thing of concern is the little legs. If you move the monitor around frequently, I could see it become wobbly over time.

I just bought an HP Omen 25L Prebuilt on sale at best buy and needed a monitor to pair it with. For me personally. I dont notice any major differences between 1080 and 1440. So I decided to go the low res better performance route. For 94 bucks, this monitor looks and is great. My desk is small so the monitor is close. For me even 27 would be way too big. The colors look great, the screen looks great and its overall a solid gaming monitor for the price. Its not going to blow you away, but if you want something low budget, and good performance this is for you. (This monitor pairs well with my 4060 ti) My one complaint is that the monitor stand it comes with is a little flimsy and not super adjustable. So you may need to get a stand/arm if the factory one isnt good enough. Overall, id reccomend this for anyone who wants a monitor thats low price, looks great, and performs well for the price and specs. 180 hz is really nice for 1080p gaming
