I bought this dress for work. It’s comfortable, simple, and can be dressed up with jewelry. I don’t think the material is too heavy, but it is noticeably heavier than most dresses. When I received the dress it looked like it had some stains on the chest area and upper back area, but it seems like those markings are all over the dress, so I think it’s normal. I’m planning to wash it and see if that changes anything. As far as fit: I ordered a L and it fits pretty perfectly. For reference, I’m 5’2 and 171 lbs. Midi is the perfect description.

I absolutely love this dress! The material is heavier but I like the way the heaviness helps the dress lay and the thickness helps cover lumps and curves. It's fitted on top and flowy on bottom so it's forgiving in the mid-section. I'm 5'3 160lbs and got a medium. It fits perfectly but a large probably would have fit well too.

I LOVE this dress! The midi length is perfect for work, and the soft stretchy material is very flattering. I got the green, and it's a beautiful shade. The sleeves are a great length, and the tiered skirt flows well. I've worn it a few time and gotten compliments- I love it so far!

The dress does NOT run anywhere near true to size. I bought the recommended size and it is huge. In Addition, the material is stretchy, cheap and the dress is nothing expected. Unfortunately I didn’t try it on and just hung it on the closet until to late to return. It’s a pretty color though and I’m sure I would of used if it was a smaller size.

I wanted a dress that’s modest enough to wear at church, but casual enough to wear anytime. This dress is it! It’s flattering, has great shape, and the weight is perfect in my opinion. It is heavier than “t shirt” material, but I think that’s what makes it hang so beautifully. It is NOT see through, and I also think that is because of the thicker material. It’s thick enough you don’t need a slip (you don’t see underwear or bra) but light enough you won’t sweat in it. I live in Arkansas where it’s hot and humid, and it’s been very comfortable in my opinion. I took one star off because I had to sew the elastic under the bust, which is really just this plastic/rubber material that’s pretty scratchy if it’s poking you. The stitching came undone, so I threw a few stitches around it. Other than that one issue, this dress seems to be decent quality and good material. I like it enough that I’m purchasing more colors.
