For the money you get 12 bags and that’s pretty fantastic as long as they work they are not exactly what I would call heavy duty, but they are made well enough as it appears. They also come with a plastic liner bag, which is handy. I usually don’t actually use sand I will use anything from rice to a more course gravel to keep from making a mess but this can save you thousands of dollars of expensive equipment tipping over so air definitely handy to have a pinch filled these with anything from spare change to keys and random office supplies. Anything to weigh down the stands in a pinch.

I like these sandbags for weighing down light stands and tripods. They are a good size for stand bases and the clip and handle is perfect for balancing boom arms. They come with plastic liners for holding sand, but I typically don’t use sand. I filled as many of the sandbags as I could with marbles and fancy stones. These items are weighty and when needed, I use them as props in photo shoots. To me, sandbags are a way to not only weight equipment, but store my photo props. The sandbags are well made and have good quality materials. The zippers work great. Getting a bulk quantity is great as somehow I lose one or two throughout the year. You also get clips to hang the bags if needed. Great value.
