This portable sand blaster has a 10 gallon pressure tank for sandblasting,Tmedia size can be used in 60~120mesh(suggest 80 mesh ), as well as a pressure gauge you can see the operating pressure. It's a sand blaster. The safety valve is set too low for their max pressure and it's hard to get the flow of sand correct with the huge valve but it works once you dial it in.

I used Walnut chips and the gun keep clogging up. I wasted more time unstopping the gun than it took me to sand by hand

I'm new to blasting so I'll share what I've learned. First, assembly as easy. Mine came with teflon tape on the valve. I assembled the arms, axle and wheels, and stand foot easily. Oddly it comes with a 1/4" NPT thread male but most tooks should be female threaded. I used a F/F ball valve I had to get a 1/2" female to then thread the quick connect fitting into. That leaves me with two duplicate intake valves but it's just what I had. I threaded on the gauge vfacing the rear as you can see in the photos. I inserted the included hose onto the barb at the bottom of the tank and tightened the hose clamp. First test I ran was air only. Glad I did. I realized the hand valve was partially screwed on but loose. Be sure to tighten yours. The opening at the top has a nice handle for leverage. I dropped in about 1 lb of 180 get glass bead. It definitely worked but was low density. I'd say something like 3-4 lbs is probably right for this tank. With my compressor at 80 psi I had to periodically wait for it to catch up. Some work is 60 psi and for that it could run almost non stop. Nexts steps for me are to try low grit walnut and get a larger compressor. ... show more

I am restoring an old Cub lo-boy tractor and need to blast many of the parts so I really needed a portable one. I received this one and was easy to assemble and glad it comes with a water separator standard equipment. My air supply is filtered but even after a awhile would have condensation sometimes. This is just the right size to still be easy to transport from inside to outside. All in all a good value for a decent blaster. Hope this helps and thanks ... show more
